“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

If it is encouraging, let him encourage; it it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. Rom 12:8

Everywhere Marxism has been attempted it has failed miserably and the people suffered. The Tea Party and its politicians have taken untold amounts of abuse at the hands of the Obama regime and its supporters for the crime of sounding a warning of what was coming for America and now have been proven right. They have not only been proven right, they were understating the warnings of the storm coming from Obamacare. Ted Cruz was heckled and jeered by the suck up media and OB’s closest Comrades in both Parties, only to now be joined as the curtain is opened.

Could the President be any more of a hypocrite? After drawing another of his lines in the sand he finally relents and approves some allowance for Americans to keep the policies they like. He lied to America, period and now we are all paying for it. In a fair world he and the Dems would admit their fraudulent claims of no disruption in American lives and call for delay in implementation of this abortion. This was not the plan anybody including they wanted and so we are getting a Frankenstein of a program.

When Obozocare was shoved down the people’s throats in the middle of the night when this was not even a completed bill. This was the bill which was heading for a Senate compromise and was supposed to go to a conference committee between the two houses where the problems would be ironed out. Of course the hardcore Maxists like Barak Hussain wanted nationalized healthcare, but knew he didn’t have the votes even in his Party, so he settled on Senator Wyden’s mandated program as a transition plan towards single payer. It was then going to a conference where the issues could be ironed out one by one before the two houses voted again.

A funny thing happened on the way to the conference committee which was, fat Uncle Ted died and the Tea Party got Brown elected into his spot. This forced the Senate to break nearly every one of their rules to avoid the conference and on Christmas Eve they passed Obamacare bringing us to where we are now. Just like predicted, there is a complete lack of ability of the gummit to produce a fairly simple website for customer signups. The people in charge were more interested in taking care of their friends with graft then they were making a functioning website. How Mrs Obama becomes the determiner of who gets to build a website? Must be nice to take care of her girlfriend who owned perhaps the most incompetent designer on the planet and funnels her over a billion dollars. And we only thought she knew how to grow gardens and take hospital payola.

Now the American people have had a chance to take a peek inside the bill and they have unanimously said no. If they can’t even make a simple website to sign people up like Amazon does hundreds of thousands of times a day, can anyone imagine what the claim processing website will look like? That one will be hundreds of times more complicated and needing far more data than this one which points to a complete disaster. There will be infinite numbers of crashes and shutdowns while people wait for weeks or months to submit their claims. The backups will become deeper and more severe as the frustration builds throughout the nation over their Frankenstein.

This rollout has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the gummit cannot run healthcare or even insurance. There is no understanding of how it works or the personnel to design a program even if they wanted to know. This is simply a bill that the Marxists inside the Party have designed to destroy the insurance industry with all types of expenses to force the companies out of the industry. The plans were written to make it impossible to make a profit and the mandates require percentages of payout to bankrupt these companies in short order. They are required to payout ninety percent of what they take in whether those claims are there or not. This stops the companies from having an emergency fund on hand in case there is a national disaster where excessive claims would come in bankrupting the insurers. These types of restrictive dictates are written throughout the bill which underlines the fact this plan was written as a payback to the insurance industry which they have hated for decades. This law is about punishing not helping.

So far we have seen what happens when a Marxist program meets a free market society. Businesses lay off half of your low skilled workers to keep yourself from being under the dictates. When the premiums of your plan go up dramatically you drop your coverage explaining to your people that their votes has results and this is one of them. The insurance companies raise the rates of their policies to reflect the need to cover the uninsurable risk pool they are dictated to cover. Doctors no longer take insurance and require cash or assurances to perform surgeries or leave the business. Finally, nobody signs up for obamacare unless they are uninsurable or cannot afford it. So you now have a disaster of a healthcare program.

Obama and congress need to either pull the plug on obamacare for a minimum of a year and or Obozo steps down. It is obvious the plan does not work in an open society. To make these monstrosities work you need a compliant society or a heavy handed dictatorship. Once the people no longer fear this gummit then they will find ways to avoid Obamacare. It is a poorly written law with no concept of how the insurance industry works. It was written by pure statists who believe they know better than you how to take care of you and what is fair by their definition.

If the president had the slightest amount of character he would resign in shame from this roll-out. He is not the type who inspires people to follow and simply passed this Frankenstein to punish the insurance industry, hospitals and those he believed he had a grievance against. Even in his apology he said he was only looking out for the impoverished who do not get a fair chance in America. That statement underlined what he saw the purpose of this monstrosity is and why he should resign. If your presidency is about punishing certain groups to help others then you are not president of all the people. Time to do something for all the people and either resign for your fraudulent promises or delay obamacare and let America vote on it. Ideally he would do both.

Pray America is waking up

Good morning AB, All.

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread.

Good to check in every Sunday, be with like-minded folks. Finally I have a quiet Sunday at home, went to church yesterday, no singing….

NO WAIT!

Granddaughter currently sleeping in my bedroom. Last night we began making some jewelry, then I crocheted and she colored, we made some chili, we went to mass together yesterday in fact. But she goes home-across the street-just as soon as she wakes up as I like to spend my Sundays watching political shows and conversing on FreeRepublic and COOKING!

Went out to lunch yesterday with a friend. As I was walking out, from across the room, I hear “Sister Pat! Sister Pat!” This was a good five miles from the church as my reputation evidently, proceeds me.

Heh.

Well that’s my new name as I’d mentioned last week my debut as a standup comedian. All through church, even DURING mass, they lean over and tell me how great I was. Okay so I’m not being very modest….heh, between the dashed lines just one of my many emails, this line copied exactly as sent. And yes it was me what recruited all the talent but the Sister Pat thing was suggested to me….the church even paid for my costume! I was asked to do it last fall, before Billy died in fact. I said sure, this is how I often do things, agreeing to stuff that’s many eons in the future.

And then the future comes.

YOU WERE AWESOME AS “SISTER PAT”!   Frank owes you A LOT!   AND SO DO WE!!!   MANY THANKS FOR RECRUITING SO MUCH TALENT!!!

I was terrified the whole week as I’d never done stand-up comedy before. We had another standup comedian but….heh, he was AWFUL. Says he once opened for Jonathan Winters. Sister Pat was waaaaaaay better, I say with much humility.

So on to the news.

I am still sitting around with jaw down to knees over Obama’s big lie. I cross fingers and hope that THIS will finally be his downfall. The story has yet to be told because I believe when all is said and done Obamacare will go down the tubes.

Seriously folks, can a president of this country really survive such an assault of obvious lies? Last night, as my granddaughter was stringing jewelry, she tells me a joke.

“Mom-Mom, listen to this joke I just heard. The guy asks Obama…’Do you want FRIES with those lies?’ “

Turns out it was Huckabee on Fox said that as I heard it again later. But granddaughter was jumping around, laughing, she thought it was just the funniest thing. “Do you want fries with those lies,” she kept saying over and over. And hey, my laughter only encouraged her….heh.

Folks, if we have ten year olds laughing bejeesus at the president surely, SURELY, it’s the end of any seriousness we ever hold him to?

Right?

Summary of the Week comes from the late Gilda Radner:

Obamacare? “Nevermind.”

==

Obama tries for a do-over and opens a whole new can of worms that is wrought with unintended consequences.

Obama ‘allows’ the delay of the individual mandates, if individuals can get a restored plan from their insurance company.

So what if the restored plans are illegal, under the Obamacare Law. The O hath spoken.

The O then sneakily appoints insurance companies and state insurance commissioners to, quoting Captain Picard of The Starship Enterprise, “make it happen.” That alleviates The O from having to act any more and it shifts responsibility for failure and conflagration onto the insurance companies and state insurance commissions. Slick, huh!

However, several state insurance commissions have already raised questions and/or declined participation in The O’s ‘recommendation’. One insurance commissioner (D.C.) has already been replaced for disparaging ‘the grand recommendation’.

Trial lawyers are already lining up for the probable lawsuits — from patients, from insurance companies, from medical facilities. This could turn out to be the greatest silver-lined cloud (for trial lawyers) since the great tobacco settlement of two decades ago that was supposed to end smoking.

Exactly. And this is why this Administration is not panicked. It's because they know that this bill is doing exactly what it is designed to do.

No new young people are signing up? That will only hurt insurers, not government.

The Fed is printing $80 Billion dollars a month to cover the wreckage Democrats have done to the economy.

Think how many businesses does it take to earn $80 Billion in a year...

And what if the insurance companies can’t get back their customer base?

Who then, can the hospitals bill for services that are going to be rendered?

So far, the number of recorded times O made the ‘you can keep it’ statement is up to 36.

This morning, F&F was running a video of numerous Democrats also making the same claim over the last 4 years or so. [I missed part of it, so I don’t have a count of the number of Dems making the claim.]

Dems and media are concerned at whether Obama can restore his credibility. Behind the scenes, Dems and news rooms are in panic mode.

Republicans must start stating Democrats, individually and collectively, have poor judgement and make bad decisions.

One stupendous example after another, stimulus, health care, housing loans, student loans, cash for clunkers...

Yes, and who is being forced into a better plan? People would have actually bought affordable health insurance...

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/11/obama-tells-americans-losing-coverage-im-sorry/

“I regret very much that what we intended to do, which is to make sure that everybody is moving into better plans because they want them, as opposed to because they’re forced into it.”

Congressman Tim Walz D-Mn, “The more people find out what’s in there, the happier they are”

http://mankatofreepress.com/local/x535472508/Economy-health-care-among-topics-for-Walz-visit

Angie Bastian said the company’s human resources manager is having trouble finding detailed information about how the reform, which will mostly take affect in 2014, will impact their business.

“We’re looking for information,” she said. “... It would be helpful to have that so we can plan.”

Walz concurred, saying federal agencies need to finalize the rules surrounding the reform bill so that businesses of all sizes will know what will be expected of them and what sorts of tax credits they will receive. Ultimately, he said most small businesses will like what they see.

“The more people find out what’s in there, the happier they are,” he said.

[And it isn’t even 2014 yet, Angie...]
