Pelosi: Democrats 'stand tall in support' of Obamacare

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says House Democrats running in 2014 will embrace the Affordable Care Act in their re-election campaigns.
Appearing Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the California Democrat declined to say whether the issue would help Democrats win a House majority but said there'll be no abandoning health care as a campaign issue.
“I don’t think you can tell what will happen next year, but I will tell you this, Democrats stand tall in support of the Affordable Care Act,” she said. “We have great candidates who are running who are concerned bout our economy, are concerned about government shutdown.”
Pelosi said the economy will be the primary focus of next year’s campaign.
Of health care, she said: “This is an issue that has to be dealt with, but it doesn’t mean, ‘Oh, it’s a political issue so were going to run away from it.’

I believe that the California House Democrat Caucus and the Congressional Black Caucus both still have a rule that they vote internally for party leader, then vote in blocks at the actual election for the candidate that won their caucus.
Pelosi has majority support from each, so she gets all of their votes. There are about 200 Democrats in the House, and those two delegations combine for about 78 seats (not counting members in both).
So Pelosi needs to win only 23 of other 122 Democrats, while any opponent needs to win 101 of the other 23 Democrats.
She is in a safe district but this loony bitch is speaking for ALL DEMS when she says this.
Hopefully the dummies in the GOP run this in a commercial.
Kind of hard to stand tall while trying to hide behind the nearest tree, bush, wall, etc.
