Bring back American jobs, to America.

China now exports more than America, and is rapidly growing.

Chinese exports do not benefit America.

Bring back American jobs.

If you are a crony of Obama, you have been sitting pretty the past 5 years. Obama gives you taxpayer money through the $800 Billion Porkulus Bill or his green energy scams, and you give the Democrats a good chunk of it back for their campaign fund. It’s a great money laundering operation, typical Chicago-style politics.

American corporations with the help of this gubbamint have teamed together to destroy American manufacturing and our standard of living.

Look at China. It is an environmental disaster. Very little environmental/worker safety regulation. Their water supplies and air are polluted to extremes.

American manufacturing turned to China to escape regulation, but in turn used this lack of regulation to pad their pockets at the expense of the environment. Shame on them all.

Working little kids and young people 16 to 20 hours a day for paltry wages....all for the almighty dollar.

Americans....boycott these cheap Chinese goods! Look for the labels. Buy American products whenever you can.

Is the 3-4% cents on the dollar that manufactures “save” by off shoring and using slave labor actually passed on to the US consumer? I think not.

Interesting graphs - bookmark

(looks like some of this may be population income shifts too with people moving in and out of states - Texas has increases along all income levels - that must be an overall population increase)

No, it’s probably going to the companies’ owners in the form of profit, as it should.

Tariffs would be a good idea to cover the social costs of this stupidity.

And to the Chinese government, which is rapidly gaining strength.

As in the Chinese military.

Bring back American jobs now.

The gap between the haves and have-nots is always widest under socialist/communist regimes.

"Redistribution" is just another name for socialism/communism.

It ain't rocket surgery.

Profits are stupid?

In case you haven't figured it out, the problem isn't that our government doesn't have enough money, or where what money they do have comes from.

The problem is they already have too much. You want to give them more.

Idiotic.

Yep...the socialists' biggest enemy is the middle class. They hate the bourgeois and erect as many roadblocks (taxes, fees, regulations and new social programs like ACA to burden them with) to keep them from climbing the ladder to wealth.

No, Free Traitors are the shortsighted butt headed idiots. Our founding fathers had no income tax and tariffs were the primary source of revenue. I have history in my side you have short sided quarterly profits on your side. The USA was NEVER stronger when tariffs where in place, no income tax and manufacturing was booming. So why do Progressive Free Traders love income taxes so?

Boycotting Asian goods is a non-starter. Most of our durable goods are manufactured there and sold here at a low price that American-made goods just cannot compete with. The average American consumer only cares about price and so they will go to the Best Buys, the Walmarts and all the other big-box stores and buy on price - regardless of where the product is made.

There will also be plenty of jobs in the U.S. but many of them are going to be service-based jobs that cannot be exported. So if you can install/repair a toilet, install electrical wiring, repair a car, etc., there will be jobs for you here. If you want to work in a factory, good luck to you. Other than maybe some light manufacturing where it might make sense to keep the operation local (i.e. making cardboard cartons and plastic jugs for milk), most manufacturing is already overseas and stands to stay there until we get to the point where robots will take over everything.

Tariffs that replace income taxes is the way to go. Research our founding fathers for more info.

American businesses need to get with it, and get our government involved in bringing American jobs back here.

For over an entire generation we have been hollowing out America.

Now China has a lower unemployment rate than America, and this year now also has become a larger exporter than America.

China is winning.

American companies doing business in China are just one Chinese law away, from having nothing.

American companies had a long and very profitable run in China, but they need to start bringing jobs back home.

And our government needs to stand up, and help them.

You call that a reasoned informed response? LOL.

PS: Guess what the first piece of legislation President Washington signed? THE TARIFF ACT. Learn history or become a commie.
