Tony Picard, the 6-foot-4-inch, 400-pound senior running back for White Swan High School in Yakima, is the biggest running back in the nation, according to the Northwest Prep Report.
Picard who is part Umatilla-Nez Perce Indian, helped lead White Swan to a 9-1 regular season record and a playoff berth, but they lost in the opening round to Colfax High School, 22-14.
Its just not going to be as much fun, head coach Andrew Bush told Indian Country Today Media Network about Picard not being on the team next year. When we come out of the locker room and watch the other teams heads; theyll [no longer] turn and look at what theyre going to have to tackle.

Both teams pile on this guy who finally grinds to a halt and collapses when he trips over a prone casualty.
Yeah he’s big but I wouldn’t say he’s talented. IF he lives long enough to make it to college (his general health looks like it will give out sooner rather than later), he will find other big boys who will be happy to make his life miserable
Hehe! Wonder how much he eats in a day? He’s a Hoss!
The Gators could use this guy. He couldn’t be any worse than what they have now.
That boy is going to have some MAJOR knee problems (not so) later in life.

“If he lives long enough to make it to college...”
The only thing I can think is if he is recruited (especially from a D1 school), a lot of that fat will be turned to muscle via their trainers. I’m not saying he won’t be big.. he will just be leaner/faster/and in better shape. IMHO.
Big buffalo make heap good running back.
At 6’4” he is way over weight. Usually you will end up with a line man at around 280 to maybe 300 pounds on that kind of frame. A D1 school doesn’t want to recruit a ‘project’. He’ll be lucky to be able to play football in college. Plus he won’t be a running back he’ll be on the line
We had a guy when I was in HS in Chicago that was pretty big. His name was Hugh Lee. I was on the Freshman team at the time, and they’d scrimmage us running the 1st String a few downs with Hugh Lee coming around end led by three guys. He’d score every time. No way you’d get in front of him.
Then we realized all you have to do is get your hand on his ankle and he’d come down like a ton of bricks. The secret was out, and he never really went anywhere after that.
Looking at the tapes he’s more devastating as a blocker than runner. Kinda reminds you of William Perry, The Frigerator.
I pick things up & pout them down...
Not against other larger players. He is only succeeding because most of the others playing against him are way smaller. It is not unlike the smart kid in class who heads off to college and finds out that he really isn’t as smart as he though.
Besides CU already has Ralphie for that position
At best he's special team, fourth and goal, 5 seconds left
Kind of like a goalie who covers the whole net.

He’s got a ‘fridge in his backpack, not books etc. I hope they’re done checks on his heart and extensive physicals (i’m sure they have) ‘cause guys that big usually have some underlying health/heart problems.
