I’ve got an LC9. I have a box of Hornady `Critical defense’ from Cabelas.
I’ve read since that they may FTF in the Ruger. Do you know what your FIL uses? And any opinion on the Viridian laser?

I use Hornady HPs with no trouble. My FIL has specific environmental concerns where he works so he uses a frangible type round. His shop is surrounded on 3 sides with family doctors and dentists. They're cool that he's armed (my podiatrist is next door to him and he has offered to let me use his AR-15 someday) as long as he uses those non-penetrating 9mm rounds.

I've used about every type of ammo from several Mfrs and have never had one fail to feed. In fact, I got the LC9 to replace a Firestar M43 9mm that had serious FTF problems.
