Besides the loss of the ordinance, it looks like the Rep candidate for city council, Janice Aronld-Jones, is barely losing her runoff too. She likely would be winning if it wasn’t for the abortion ordinance being on the ballot at the same time.
Gotta call it a night - have a 3 a.m. (NM time) wakeup call. I’ll let others post updates.
Here’s hoping every abortion loving voter gets their own healthcare aborted by OblahMaosCare. That would be a very mild form of justice.
Sleep well Dave. 10pm here and it’s been called with 80% of ballots counted. 54% - 46% with the ban being voted down. Abortion ban groups were outspent.
Janice Arnold-Jones is losing 49% - 51% but it’s not being called yet as it’s too close.
I am likely off to bed. The chills I had earlier are trying to morph into the flu here.
Arizona... embraces the murder of babies... loves mccain... how far you have fallen. I pray that I am wrong and that GOD wins this one... like in Texas!
I just woke up to this horrible news. I really thought the late term abortion ban would pass. Janice Arnold-Jones losing too is another hit to the gut even though I though I couldn’t vote for her.
Arizona has passed laws such as this one. This is New Mexico.
They have declared the result without counting the election day votes?
