You don’t kill a lion for food, you hunt it because it takes skill and if you screw up can get you killed. I’m not a trophy hunter but did kill a deer with a 44 mag open sighted revolver at 125 yards. I kept the horns and ate the meat.

I was waiting to see if chessplayer would respond and was then going to address the conservation aspect of keeping critters free and alive through licensing fees like saleman did.
However I wanted to see if there would be a reply first. As expected it was a ‘post it’ then go run and hide response. I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time writing about something the choir already knows.

I kinda have to agree with you. It upset me to look at that beautiful big cat like that.
