The closing of their doors can’t come too soon, nothing but propaganda. Once upon a time the O.C. Register was a balanced voice, but they too have devolved and are now filled with a bunch of pro “immigrant” crapola and will probably be following the LA Slimes into the crapper. The only time I waste money on a newspaper nowadays is if the wife wants the Sunday ads.

The claim is that they are going to cut mostly operations people. This would probably be the custodial staff, the security staff, human resources, IT support, etc.

They will then outsource all of those activities to subcontractors who will pay their employees less and offer them fewer benefits.

So while the reporters at the LA Times are editorializing in favor of a "living wage" and good benefits, their management will be seeing to it that the exact opposite happens for their operations staff.

They would rather go out of business than sell it to anyone who might be a bit conservative, not that anyone would plow money into that dying business.

Subscribe to a “news” paper? Who’d pay for communist propaganda? Even communists don’t waste time on that stupid stuff.

Hard to believe now, but The Chicago Tribune and The Los Angeles Times were Republican for many decades.
