Does this count as Obama keeping his promise?
(Not "good" of course.)
Its just a fustercluck.
iirc, the sop is to find a scapegoat
so, calif insurance companies under the bus?
Of course it does. “Hey I tried to fix it but the insurance companies and state regulators are racist”....
So: the electorally most important state in the USA right before the 2014 elections will be full of infuriated dependent people?
Yes, and the DEMs will still have a super-majority in both CA state houses after the 2014 election.
On Drudge right now I just read that Obama and Dems are switching from calling it Obamacare to calling it the Affordable Care Act. Nothing like plastering your own name on the bow of the Titanic, eh? SURE we’ll forget the original name he’s been bragging about for too long is Obamacare.
This will give NPR and PBS a year to beat the drum on how “insurance companies” sabotaged Obamacare. Thanks SteveH.
“I honestly have not figured out whether this is more bad or less bad.(Not “good” of course.)”
If the law isn’t going to be repealed, then let the bad news (and horrible damage) get out there ASAP. I want this affirmative action dope defending this for the next three years, rather than destroying other institutions or sectors of the economy. No point in giving the Dems a pass in 2014...
K I you make an excellent point.
Thanks; let’s hope that’s how it plays out.
