Sarah Palin Will Discuss Martin Bashir Comments on Fox News Sunday (RLY?)
mediaite.com ^ | 2:30 pm, November 22nd, 2013 | Matt Wilstein

>Sarah Palin will address the controversial comments made by about her by MSNBC’s Martin Bashir for the first time on the November 24th edition of Fox News Sunday. Fox News’ Chris Wallace is also expected to interview Palin about the Affordable Care Act and her new book Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas.

After Palin made her own controversial remarks comparing America’s debt crisis to “slavery,” Bashir delivered a monologue on his MSNBC program in which he suggested that, in order to truly understand the horrors of slavery, someone should defecate into Palin’s mouth. Bashir later apologized, but, despite continued outrage from Palin’s defenders, MSNBC did not take any disciplinary action against the host.

Palin evidently decided to grant Wallace the first interview on the matter after Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly revealed on Wednesday night that she had turned down his invitation to discuss the matter on The O’Reilly Factor.

I don’t think he’s a dunce at all. He’s overbearing and arrogant. O’Baxter could use a large dose of humility and I am mindful that he needs to move his guests along and keep the interviews focused, but there’s usually no need to talk over or talk down to his conservative guests, which is precisely what he tried to pull on Sarah Palin the last time she appeared on his show.

In fact, she had to remind him of the time delay between her home studio in Wasilla and his studio in NYC during their “conversation.”

Thanks for catching that one... it's the newest liberal lie: false equivalency.

Some liberal on FOX’s O’Reilly show was trying to draw a comparison between calling someone a ‘pinhead’ and saying a young mother having someone sh*t on her was the same. We have to assume the guy's mother was a whore - and a kinky one at that - for him to think that way. Very sad.

Hey American Negroes!

You do not have an exclusive franchise on slavery.

Many races throughout human history have been enslaved, including pale-skinned peoples so back off.

The primary problem of Blacks is that too many of you do not function well in a modern society - not that you allowed yourselves to be enslaved in the past.

There are many kinds of slavery.

Some people are slaves to alcohol. Some are slaves to credit cards. Slavery is used as a term to describe anything which may enslave someone, and can be a varying scale.

Indebtedness absolutely is slavery to the one to whom the debt is owed. Once the debt is paid, one is free. I grew up understanding that concept.

I just don’t understand what is controversial about that, other than it’s the honest truth. And it was said by Sarah. These people are rabid in their ignorance.

After Palin made her own controversial remarks comparing America’s debt crisis to “slavery,”

Is it safe to assume Mr, Wilstein is a Keynesian in terms of his economics and possibly has never read Hayek's "Road to Serfdom"?

Again the left tries to destroy us by using language as a tool, can we not use the words Slavery or Serfdom to denote the burdens of Debt while not a physical shackle but non the less a shackle?

How do we have dialogue and or fix serious issues in what is left of the Republic when they constantly destroy the ability to engage in the arena of ideas with such parsing which is quite frankly meant to shut us up?

Spot on, they cannot and will not ever win in the arena of ideas. They know it more than we, and until we do, they use that as a weapon against us as well. I love getting into a liberal's face and impugn them at will in the arena goading them to come in. They can't handle it and will eventually run away.

We will be covering Palin’s appearance Sunday morning, so make sure to check back on Mediaite then for video of the interview.
