There are such things as evil “games.”

I don’t think we should get too hung up over the nomenclature. We agree we don’t want this stuff going on.

We also should know that we need to spend MORE time towards God and less time beholding the evil. Yes, less. Because God already knows what the evil is, and as the heavenly Commander is already ready to send each and every one of His soldier children out on a mission to not just neutralize evil but establish goodness in its place. He doesn’t need our grand tacticians, except to recognize the wisdom of His plan and then obey it.

Well I am quite hung up over what it’s called.

Your mileage evidently varies.

I am a sinner that I think beating on people is NOT a game.

Forgive me.

And here is my humble offering of a clue to how the successful battle will work.

We are in the midst of a battle of heaven versus hell, and people are involved only as far as what they choose. The person who chose hell yesterday may be on the brink of choosing heaven tomorrow. We know the system of exhorting people to do this as evangelism, but we should gladly break the boundaries of our stereotyped ideas of what evangelism is. Evangelism isn’t just sermons in a church, and it’s more than sidewalk ministries. It’s how we make faith in the biblical God appear every day. It’s looking for God to guide in taking advantage of strategic opportunities. We can always successfully address the devil as the Holy Spirit empowers and schedules, whether that means to rest in God or to confront the evil in active battle.

In general, seizing plunder from Satan’s curses into the realm of God’s blessing represents a re-purposing of resources from bad to good. Options for doing this were sharply limited in the Old Testament economy. The gospel greatly opens up the picture; God has made “all foods clean.” There is nothing, not itself a sin, that the enemy used that God cannot use even better. Take courage in this thought when waging the war, and you will think creatively in the vein of the Creator and Redeemer Himself. Turn the control for actually doing it over to the Lord, and watch the successes mount.

We can recognize how it looks from the evil side. I say please make every effort to get past it. You can call it a game in ridicule.

Truly great stuff bray.

Concur.

Would add—I believe the Demoviks have already IDed their next economic takeover target, and it is the wealth tucked away in 401K plans.

The operation to sap this wealth is the ongoing QE bond buy-back program, which is creating the largest stock market bubble in history.

The bubble can be popped by a mere wink-and-a-nod from the White House to the Fed, at which point those who have shorted the market (Soros, et. al.)could take up to half of the 401K wealth.

Am I being overly hysterical? I hope I am.

But look at this super-heated stock market—which is trading not on any meaningful growth in the economy, or even the promise of growth. The top 20 percent (if not more) of the Dow and S&P is simply chasing fiat money created via QE.

Speaking of this filibuster thing....I got an opinion.

Y’all are entitled to my opinion and I give it willingly.

First, this so-called super-majority vote, it’s not in the constitution. This is a senate parliamentary procedure and there’s nothing wrong with having procedural rules. But once the majority can break the rules, as has been pointed out by Rush and others, there are NO rules.

THAT’s what the Dems did....they eliminated the rules.

I say leave it that way. Let a majority decide senate votes cause the Dems will fool around with this rule the rest of their lives....let a simple majority decide things in that House of Lords, it’s how the founders intended it to be. If Americans don’t like this, elect a majority in the senate....let’s not keep letting these Elites change the rules as they see fit.

WHEN the pubs get back in charge, THEY BETTER NOT CHANGE IT BACK!

THAT would be dumb.

But who accused them of ever being all that smart?

Got another thought on this....more later.

Basically, persisting in nomenclature battles will get OURSELVES fighting one another to our disablement, and everyone has his or her hot button. Apply the maximum charity and get past such things. The enemy doesn’t have charity, and so what? God does!

I think Obama’s in serious, serious trouble.

I think the Dems are chomping at the leash to be rid of this guy.

Oh they’re not going to impeach him; I doubt this will ever happen. I do think the Dems want to sit this guy on the bac k burner and hope to keep him quiet for the remaining three years he’s got.

For now, he’s got just a little bit of political capital left. The Dems want him to use it up while he can cause each passing week brings more bad news. Obamacare is NEVER going to keep better, it is the gift that keeps giving.

I know politicians lie, sure they lie, it’s what politicians do. But out here in la-la land where we carry this country on our backs we understand that constant lies have consequences. Politicians....the Ruling Elite Class....have no common sense. It didn’t occur to them that Obama’s blatant lying would come back to bite. Hell the Dems were all in on it too!

So they want to ram through his communist judges, hence the filibuster, and how about next year they’re going to move open enrollment by eleven days? Here we are a year away and they know already that they’re going to need those eleven extra days? Just enough to push it past the 2014 elections when the Dems know they’re going to get routed.

THAT particular move is another sure sign of Obama going down the drain. “Stay with me guys, and I’ll change the next open enrollment until after the 2014 election,” I hear Obama begging.

America is going to rise up over all these lies, it’s bound to happen, it’s happening now and will continue.

Well I got another thought on that too.

Recast your battle focus. Eph 6 is not woofing. It is the key that unlocks the door to a successful battle.

ANY human, today our enemy, could be our friend tomorrow (or at least relent from some of his hatred, and then he who is not against us is for us) for all we know. One can deal severely if required with opponents without bestowing on them the kind of indelible recognition for evil power that belongs only to Satan.

As Satan is forced to back down, people too will change. Grudges against people will greatly hobble us from capitalizing on the situation.

Guess what, Fish. I’ve been so wrong too in the past.

I don’t condemn you at all. God doesn’t.

God isn’t tying me down with my past. He has given me an inheritance of a beautiful future. And it sounds like He has given it to you too. Let’s use it to the maximum.

WHEN the pubs get back in charge, THEY BETTER NOT CHANGE IT BACK!

You seriously underestimate Reid and Obama duplicity...

He isn't going to give the pubs a chance to change it back because the when it becomes clear they will loss the Senate he will in the "name of fairness" reinstate the filibuster rule before he becomes minority leader...

There isn't a thing the pubs can do about it...

When the pubs take over the Senate and try this same tactic, you will never hear the end of the media and Reid and his minions calling it a power grab...and it isn't fair after all we changed the rules back....

...after they got done ramming down the Senate throats all sorts of left wing radical nominees and appointments...

Willful disobedience? You think we should forgive that? Forgiveness is a thing of the heart. Righteous indignation to those who willfully harm others for their own self aggrandizement begets consequences.

No Mc and Cheezy? Isn’t this the 2nd weekend in a row without their presence?

Considering that Grahamnesty seems to be in electoral trouble, I would have expected him to be showing up everywhere for the free publicity.

==

Dumbest trashtalkingpoint was earlier in the week when the Dems were claiming the failure of the healthcare.gov website was the Republicans’ fault because they are invested in the failure of Obamacare.

It is amazingly funny to watch Obama, Carney, and various Dems pretzel excuses to try to cast blame elsewhere. They are worse than little kids who get caught with their hands in the cookies jar and cookie crumbs on their lips and say they didn’t do it.

==

Dumbest Pubbie of the week:

McConnell ‘I am shocked, shocked! I tell ya, that Reid pushed the button the nuclear option.’

Now, McConnell is ‘fighting mad’ — at the Tea Party.

McConnell claims he will restore the historic filibuster rule when he becomes Majority Leader.

[Dumba**, they pulled that option, let them suffer under it, if the Pubbies do manage to become the Majority Party. And hopefully, if the Pubbies do manage to become the Majority Party, they will have sense enough to get a new Majority Leader with more backbone.]

If everything remains static in the spiritual battle, this would not be an unreasonable anticipation.

However I see a spiritual battle gathering here. God is possibly getting prepared for a fight with the devil like we have not seen, perhaps, in centuries. Maybe not yet the literal return of the Lord, but a return to a much wider acceptance of the Lord’s Spirit.

And it’s going to be a weird looking fight from a worldly point of view. People will be placed in positions where the need to choose good over evil will become crystal clear. They will frequently choose the good and be blessed, or else if they choose the evil then their stature will be reduced, temporarily if not permanently.

Christians’ part in this: be ready to share that Good News. God doesn’t want it hogged to ourselves. God knows we will get some blowback from Satan from doing it, but God will sharply rein that blowback in. It is only a training exercise. But the advance of goodness will be real.
