Canada 'deeply skeptical' about Iran's intentions

Canada is "deeply skeptical" about Iran's intentions, Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird said on Sunday.

"Every diplomatic [effort] should be taken to ensure that Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon," Baird said.

He added that effective sanctions brought the Iranian regime to its more moderate front, and led to the interim deal signed in Geneva.

Canada will therefore continue to impose its sanctions on the Islamic Republic in full force, Baird said.

"A nuclear Iran is not just a threat to Canada or its allies but it would also seriously damage the integrity of decades of work for nuclear non proliferation. It would provoke other neighboring states to develop their own nuclear deterrent in what is already an incredibly volatile region," he added.

This has to be repeated:

CANADA WILL THEREFORE CONTINUE TO IMPOSE ITS SANCTIONS ON THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC IN FULL FORCE.

There are still statesmen around. Almost unbelievable.

In a a bar, one would say #u&k that s%it about Iran's intention. Diplomatic 'deeply skeptical' is the equivalent.

Isn't nice to see someone ANYONE on Israel's side?

As “nice” as it is to be the world’s policeman,

it would be nice one day to wake up and read that Europe (France, Canada, Germany, Britain, Italy, Switzerland, etc) actually decided to do something in their own interests - without us - and say, deal with iran on their own...?

Maybe it’d be refreshing to see them deal with a problem now and then totally on their own.

Look at the nutbag we have running our country into the ground. He’s ENABLING the problem he’s not going to fix it. I would love for them to wake up and just turn certain parts of the Persian sandbox into some glowing glass.

Canada is not stupid. She understands that there is an enemy of the West in the White House and that it would be historically foolish to follow Obama, the Muslim Brotherhood advisors and their tool John Kerry.

I’m at the point that if Obama supports it, I’m against it.
He does not have the best interests of the US at heart, just the opposite.

The countries that support this deal are (so far) Syria, Iran, China, and Russia. Add to that the EU (France and Germany took part in the negotiations but the first statements are still “careful”).

On the political side you have the far left in the MSM and that is all so far. Several (D) Senators have declared themselves sceptical.

At least someone in Canada has both feet planted on the ground for the interests of that nation. Wish OUR administration would care a little about America...... just a little.

P.M. Harper has always made me proud of his support for Israel. I think the Canadians were among the first to stand up and walk out when that nut Ahmejinidad or whatever his name is, addressed the U.N.

Canada is "deeply skeptical" about Iran's intentions.

The only people not skeptical, are the Obungler and his minions.
