Leave the Iranians the hell alone the same way we agree we should leave the Syrians alone and they won’t be floating any missiles 300 miles up our coasts.

Because, ultimately, it’s not about Israel at all! Israel has always been known in the ME as the “little Satan.” The U.S. has always been viewed as the “Great Satan.” We are the target and getting rid of Israel makes us the ONLY remaining target.

It’s in our strategic interests to support Israel because Israel fights the battles against the Jihadis we don’t want to fight. Take Israel out of the fight and we become the “only Satan.”

Iran's regime has promised to destroy America. Their parliament was chanting death to America last month. You really think that this terrorist regime is rational?
If Iran get's nukes, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have agreed to a transfer. Egypt and Turkey will look to get nukes. And once multiple powers in the region have nukes, it becomes entirely rational to pass on nukes to proxies to attack western cities. How many American and European cities will you trade for your anachronistic delusions of isolationism?

Israel is not talking about nuking Iran. They’re only talking about destroying key nuclear sites which can be used for the production of nuclear weapons.

The good news here - Israel will not be fooled or cowed into following the lead of the US.

Israel knows that its very existence depends on what Israel does to protect itself. Israel has the capability to act to preserve its survival. Now, Israel just has to execute the plans.

No amount of pleading or persuasion by the US or others will be able to deter Israel, because it is clear, by their actions, that nobody has Israel’s best interest in mind, save Israel.

What concerns me now is that Israel may have no choice but to attack Iran.
The U.S.controls and monitors ALL airspace over the gulf.
We will detect any IAF flights long before they enter Iranian airspace.
The questions are :
1. Will we notify Iran of the Attack ?
2. Will Obama give the order to intercept and destroy the IAF package. ?
3. Will USAF pilots actually fire on the IAF ?
4. If the IAF perceives the US JSTARs aircraft as a threat will they attempt to destroy them?
5. Will US Area Commanders allow the above hairball to happen.
