Manitoba mom rebuked for sending kids to school with lunches that lacked Ritz Crackers

If you send your child to school in Manitoba with roast beef, potatoes, carrots, an orange and some milk, you should prepare yourself for the inevitable accusations of negligence, a $10 fine and having your kids force-fed Ritz crackers to make up for your lack of parental ability.

That's right. Meat, vegetables and dairy are all fine and good. But if your kid doesn't get his or her daily intake of saturated fats and processed wheat products, you deserve a scarlet letter branded to your chest.

The health blog Weighty Matters posted recently on a Manitoba mother who received a rebuke from her child's school accusing her of sending her children to school with an "unbalanced" lunch in April 2012.

Meals that are provided to children (by either the center or parent) are required to have: 1 milk, 1 meat, 1 grain and 2 fruits/vegetable. According to licensing guidelines, the centre is required to supplement lunches that contain anything less than this," the note reads.

It adds that the lunch was supplemented with Ritz Crackers, and the parent was charged $10.

And I would respond with a $10 million dollar suit for teaching my kid about sodomy, Islam, lesbians, the beauty of marxism under Obama and whatever else they are polluting my kids mind with.

Highway robbery.

Ritz crackers in not a grain. Any thing that is made from ground stuff is overly processed and considered a flour based starch.

A side of brown rice, for example, would be a grain.

A man is not truly free until he has a government that tells him that he MUST feed Ritz Crackers to his children.

I’d lose my mind if somebody fed that crap to my kids.

So she sends her children to a school that she paid for with taxes, provides that child with a lunch that she bought out of her own pocket and is fined by that school based on their idea of what her child should eat? Do I have that right?

Apparently, in Canadah, there are a number of situations where public “servants” need to be lined up and terminated, as encouragement for the others.

Canadah needs to consult with Sweden.

This too much. My health nut boss who is a vegetarian or weegan or whatever they call themselves was appalled by my lunch consisting of a bologna sandwich (with Miracle Whip on it) and a stack of Ritz crackers.

Yes, these public servants’ publicly-funded golden pensions need to be replaced by public horse-whippings.

The “heads on pikes” treatment is reserved for their masters.

Try smearing some braunschwieger in there instead of butter.

Yow!

"The “heads on pikes” treatment is reserved for their masters."

Washington DC could benefit from some object lessons.

That Mitch (ditch 'm) would benefit from an opportunity to get in touch with his wealth (after 30 yr at the public trough) would also be encouragement to the others.
