Voters did know.

They didn’t care.

IMO, Voters didn't care to know.

Had Romney been elected, we would have R’s busily “fixing” Obamacare so that it is not quite as painful and it would never go away.

BHO - Elected on a Lie!

What a fitting epitaph!

“A nation of gullible b@star@ds. It was clear as day but voters fell for the easy lies instead of thinking for themselves.”

The voters were thinking OF THEMSELVES. They don’t know how to THINK FOR THEMSELVES. Gibbsmedats come in all flavors.

Before the primaries were half over I named Romney among the few in the Republican race guaranteed to lose an election to Obama. For pity sake, he couldn't even beat McCain the prior election cycle -- he took 3rd seat. If you can't beat McCain (who would have lost in a landslide had it not been for Palin), there's just no chance at beating "that One". Given the choice between socialism-republican and socialism-democrat, the democrat wins every time. We knew. And we're better off today talking about repealing Obamacare than having it blow up during a Romney presidency (which was the plan) so the Republicans can forever be labeled has having screwed it up and resign themselves to fixing it.

This is not aimed at you grundle. Actually it wasn’t the people that voted for 0bama that got him reelected. It was the people who sat at home and didn’t vote for Romney because he wasn’t enough of this or enough of that. He wasn’t my choice either but I supported him once he got the nomination and voted for him. To all of you who stayed home, I hope you lost your plan. The establishment GOP sux. But the dems suk more. I hope you are pleased with what you accomplished by sitting at home.

Agree.
Lying is second nature to that man. In fact, sometimes I don’t think he even knows he’s lying. He seems to think if he says it...it is true.

If Romney had won the election, the story in the media would be how he had messed up the rollout of healthcare that the previous IT-savvy president has so carefully crafted.

“What difference would it make?”

In this case, sadly, probably not much.

Our problem was that "our" candidate came in a close 2nd in the lying department.

Romney built his career on lying and on being on both sides of every issue and then lying about that.

Romney was the worst possible opponent to achieve that, since Obamacare was based on Romneycare.

Yep.

I have a “friend” who voted both times for the zero. She is thrilled that she will be getting obamacare - well, Medicaid because she has a lot of health issues and low income. However, I told her with her health issues - it was just a matter of time until they started rationing care. She doesn’t believe me and doesn’t seem to care how this boondoggie of a bill has hurt the majority of Americans - as long as she gets her Medicaid FREE. This is what we’re up against! She might sing a different tune if they start rationing her health care. Time will tell, but for now - she’s happy she is getting free Medicaid and couldn’t wait to sign up for it. Sorry to say - she has what I call the welfare mentality.

People are foolish. What did they think would happen to their insurance once this fascist abomination became law? Now that they’ve lost their insurance, they are going to pay a lot more for Obamacare, if they can afford to do it. If they can pay anywhere from twice to three times as much as they were paying, they are going to discover that they also have to pay higher co-pays and deductibles. The latter is going to be a lot higher than what they were paying. I hope they hate what Obama and the fascist Democrats have done to them.

The real unemployment numbers have been hidden and manipulated. We are between 12 and 20 percent unemployment today based on the state you are in.

No one could still go through Obamacare to know what to campaign against during the last election.

Government employees through their unions still sending nearly a billion or more to Obama and Democrat campaigns in exchange for huge salaries, benefits and retirements.

A press that covers for one party and the first black guy in office over frying any and all oppositions to Democrats.

Gee, how is it any nondemocrat could ever win anyway under these current conditions?

You are right, of course. People are short-sighted.

Is she newly qualified for Medicaid? And is she for sure getting it?

Because single people don’t get a lot from the gov’t.

I’ve done tax prep work and you can talk about the rich and the poor but it seems to me we balance our budget “on the backs” of single persons.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. It’s all over now but the crying. Elections do have consequences. Some of them are fatal.
