It appears that Hagel’s statement that the US-Japan mutual defense treaty covers the Senkakus has some teeth to it.

“Not gonna subscribe to the WSJ, but from what I can read maybe we’ll have to give a cookie to the Obama Administration on this one...”

Gotta sort of agree. This was a quick, public response to the ChiComs indicating “yeah, not so much there buddy.” Kind of a surprise from the Clown College Administration.

“Oslama wanted them shot down...the Chinese refused to comply.”

That’s what I was thinking too. He want’s Israel to attack
Iran and China to attack the US or Japan. The jug-eared
punk wants a war.

I don’t trust this regime in anything. This could be just another diversion. This rank amateur squatting in the WH will get us into a shooting war before he’s done.

Dangerous for China. They are playing with fire messing with the Japanese.

Not a chance in hell. China is a very different country compared to 1937.

This could be just another diversion.

The Iran roll-over agreement and now this: Zero is attempting both to divert from Obamacare and establish himself as President - in both the diplomacy and defense angles. It's all about him.

The French artillery commander at Dien Bien Phu promised the French commander of the ground forces there that the communists could never, never put artillery on the hills surrounding them. The French artillery commander killed himself the night the first communist shell was fired from the surrounding hills. Aircraft carriers are tremendous weapons, but it would be wise to not put all of our eggs into one basket.

This is what he wants. What better justification for a 3rd (or longer) term in the white hut than international and civil unrest (martial law)...?

Israel is on its own, and so are we (until Jesus returns)...

Not to mention Japan’s population base has finally hit the wall of an island nation with no expansion room. Wether China’s one-child policy will bite them harder and sooner is something I can’t honestly say.

Spot on, the Japanese have to challenge, often and in force, on the sea and in the air.

A good thing. But how did they get this past Obama?
He will have to bow 4 extra times now to some Chinese official.

Or calls were made to permit this charade of japan support. Obama will be more “flexible” with china when it matters. More deflection.

A comforting chart to see actually! Makes one “slightly” less upset at paying taxes!

Peace through strength.

Oh great, another enabler of Chinese treachery heard from.

Nobody is forcing...

That’s a real hoot idiot. Go out and try to find certain things not made in China.

You and you fellow FreeTraitors financed China’s rise. Now you can very well take the trashing you so richly deserve.

"You are in favor of raising taxes? No thanks."

Our founding fathers viewed tariffs as taxes on foreigners wanting to do business in our market. And they viewed it as maximizing freedom because the tariffs allowed them to avoid direct taxation of citizens.

So we could lower individual and corporate income taxes by the amount of money that the tariffs raised.

"No one if forcing anybody to buy Chinese products."

Exactly, therefore no one will be forced to pay the tariffs. The tariff, if not absorbed by the foreign producer to maintain market share, will a voluntary tax on people unwilling to buy American.

For whatever reason, this administration doesn't seem to like the Chinese very much. There's no doubt what they're after in the Middle East, but surprisingly, they seem to unwittingly swerve into doing the right thing in this part of the world. I'm sure it's baffling to our foes and allies in the region.
