MSNBC is still trying to milk this story, even though it’s old “news”. Their latest spin is that it’s all a fake plot by the Cheney family for some nefarious purpose.
The viciousness of the Left’s attacks is over the top. A difference of opinion or philosophy or ideology is just that. The Left is encouraged in their hatred of Conservatives by the Bamster and his sycophant Media.

I like to think so . . . and Mary should have NEVER disrespected her whole family by entering into a same-sex "marriage", a term that I really do not think applies to such an arrangement. But one of the main character flaws of homosexuals, in my observation, is that everyhing is about THEM. Never mind the embarrassment to the family, the deleterious impact on children that they bring into their relationship, and the adverse impact on traditional families in general, which in turn has a devastating impact on children from broken homes and single-parent families. But Mary and her "partner" are just fine with the negative influences they have because THEY are happy with their situation . . . screw everybody else.
The author of this piece does his credibility no good when he describes the lesbian pair as married without so much as a quotation mark.
It looks like a well-orchestrated piece of political theater.
Not that the Cheneys actually sat down and planned out the whole thing together -- but everybody's playing a role and everybody knows everybody is playing a role assigned to the them by politics and public image maintenance.
More chumpbait for the media to get worked up about.
I have read similar theories here on FR…. some here hate Liz Cheney and say that her statements about marriage are all just so she can get elected. It is not just the left who have a nasty tongue or pen
