The rest is gravy.

The GOP-e is working furiously to engineer a Christie nomination. Should they succeed, you can get ready for President Hillary.

They got me to vote for Romney to prevent an Obama second term, this time it doesn’t matter and I don’t care. I will not vote for Christie and no amount of scare tactics will get me to vote for him. You think a bunch of Republicans stayed home and didn’t vote for Romney? Just wait and see what happens if Christie is set up by the establishment.

I have spent the last couple years preparing for a collapse. That said I say if Christie is the nominee I will not vote. If it takes a collapse to get the GOPe to realize that the base will not support dems that they put up so be it. I don’t care how much lipstick they put on that pig Christie I will not vote for him.

Especially since I suspect (and hope) that Scott Walker will be the strong majority GOP nominee come 2016.

And they will use any false means necessary to give a more moderate nominee momentum, as they did with Romney. If Romney lost Iowa, he would not have had momentum going into New Hampshire, and he would have been severely weakened. So they falsely declared Romney the winner when Santorum actually won it.

It was to be Romney and Romney it was to be. And all stops will be pulled in 2016 for whomever the establishment wants. We need to beat these people back!

Well what else is there to say but to run out and celebrate with a box of gooey Christy Creme Donuts. All calories and no substance fits perfectly with the GOP-e as they try to ‘glaze’ over us. Not very sweet is it however?

Christie would be three times the president the Obama is.

Are you sure just 3 times. I think he is pushing 400 at least. That is more like 4 times odumby.

They don't care, as they'd prefer Hillary to any conservative.

Walker/Cruz or Cruz/Walker. I never sat out an election, but I just might if one of those two are not on the ballot.

Question:
If the 2016 Republican Presidential Caucus were held today,
who would you most likely support:
Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio,
Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, or Scott Walker?

Christie - 17%
Cruz - 16%
Jindal - 3%
Paul - 13%
Rubio - 6%
Ryan - 9%
Santorum - 11%
Walker - 7%
Not Sure - 17%
-
HA!
Christie is in a dead heat with this guy:

I think the Roves and the Priebuses have already run the calculus figures and they're confident that they have just enough rubes who either

You'll see the threats trying to scare the squishies. Watch for the posts here on FreeRepublic shortly after Krispy Kreme's the nominee, saying things like "Hillary thanks you for your vote".

The other textbook trick that the GOP-e always deploys is, "Republican X can't win. He's too Conservative." And then they gin up a bunch of match-up polls showing the Conservative losing badly to the Democrat and the GOP-e guy losing, but very competitive, with a chance, if everybody only gets behind the GOP-e candidate.

Watch to see just when Rove and Co. will deploy this tactic. It will come.

Rubio - 6%

{snicker}

He will never get the stench of the gang of 8 off. He will probably regret ever stepping in that one.
