Heck, I lived in Niagara Falls for 2yrs, when working for the BSA out of Buffalo, and we had 128” of snow one year. (Constant lake effect snow.) That’s snow! 3” is hardly ‘panic mode’, except for CNN. Heh.

I lived near Rochester in 65. Our driveway had a gradual slope on one side. The snowplows finally got through 3 days later. My brother, a neighbor, and I dug a 6 room tunnel beside the driveway. I could stand up in the largest room. One snow drift covered the side of the house up to the bottom of the second story windows. The only time I can recall school was cancelled because the roads were totally drifted in throughout most of the county.
