The news isn't all bad: Users say the site looks better, pages load faster, and more people are getting through to sign up for health plans.
But technical problems still affect HealthCare.gov's ability to verify users' identities and transmit accurate enrollment data to insurers, officials say. The data center that supports the site faces continuing challenges, and tools for processing payments to insurers haven't been built.
Technical staff in Washington have been racing up to the end-of-November deadline. In their last public pronouncement on the effort, three days before the deadline, officials said they had much to do to get the site into a condition where it functions smoothly for a majority of users.

So it is useless?????
Lipstick on a pig.
I’m baffled (not really). With the original roll out, they said the problem was that they didn’t have a completed website that was thoroughly tested. They still don’t have a completed website that’s thoroughly tested.
I am one who signed up and was unable to have my ID verified.
Tried signing up my daughter and was messaged the email address was no good (it was) Input info multiple times and rec’d same message.
We all need to continuously log on so we can “test” the site and see if it can handle the traffic load.
So it begins. They started out the WSJ figuring some out here would start to believe rather than have a WAPO or NYT liberal rag start it.
By Monday, all the alphabets and liberal rags and blogs in the country will be trumpeting success.
Big Brother, “1984” ObamaSpeak hails an 80% usage site!!! Any American that believes this garbage is high on drugs, alcohol, Kool-Aid or just simply insane!!!
The “Goal Post” moving squad has already been alerted.
It doesn't take much to have text writing over itself...lol.
and tools for processing payments to insurers haven’t been built.
A minor problem. lol
There are other critical functions that still need to be built but the article doesn’t go into that. Just saying.
See post 10.
kinda like...we could have told you that...........
Officials mixed optimism with caution. "November 30th does not represent a relaunch of HealthCare.gov," said Julie Bataille, a spokeswoman for the government's Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which operates the site. "It is not a magical date. There will be times after November 30th when the site, like any website, does not perform optimally."
I don't think I have ever heard a corporation make a disclaimer like this about their website.
"Just go to www.oursite.com. It might not work, but just keep trying. Day after day! It's FUN! Be the first one in your state to get through.
We are constantly fed the excuse of the day. The administration knows it can get away with this tactic since the media won’t hold them accountable for anything nor remind them of their hypocrisy.
I read the Security module won’t start until spring.
Tip of the iceberg.
There are no website problems.
The problems will be fixed by the end of the month.
We never said it would be perfect.
You’re using it wrong.
Republicans didn’t want it to work, so it doesn’t.
The Tea party sabotaged it.
It’s Bush’s fault.
Or perhaps volume is light because even clueless Obama voters don’t want their personal information on this hackers’ paradise of a web site. Since the payment portion will not be available for weeks, those enrolled are the prospective Takers....a “business model” destined for failure.
Just for yucks I’ve been trying to access healthcare.gov all day, all I get is “ server not responding”.....
