The GOP might as well be dead
wash post ^ | 12/2/13 | j capehart

The Growth and Opportunity Project, aka “the autopsy,” was heralded as the Republican Party’s clear-eyed assessment of its 2012 presidential defeat. Autopsies are done on dead things, and ever since its March 2013 release, the GOP has done everything possible to stay dead.

The Republican Party is dead to African Americans. Not that there was much of pulse to begin with. Romney won 6 percent of the black vote to 93 percent for Obama, which isn’t surprising since Romney was looking to unseat the nation’s first black president. But it is also not surprising considering all of the voter suppression efforts around the country.

That the GOP ought to try to appeal to African Americans was recognized in the autopsy. “There are numerous outside groups that are studying the best way for the Republican Party to better reach African American voters,” the report pointed out. “The Republican Party should leverage the best practices identified by such organizations.” You employ that “best practices” nonsense when you and your staff haven’t a clue what to do. And it’s clear that if Michael Steele, the former chairman of the Republican National Committee who is black, were still head of the party, at least two egregious episodes would not have happened.

A tweet from the party’s official Twitter account on Sunday would not have celebrated Rosa Parks on the anniversary of her historic bus-boycott arrest by lauding “her role in ending racism.” Sure, the tweet was later corrected. But, come on, people. The lowest level black person at the RNC could have told them that the tweet as flat-out wrong and offensive. Not that anyone would have listened, assuming there are any low-level black people there.

If this actually accurately reflects the views of all black Americans, then we will never achieve anthing like racial unity.

Might as well segregate the country into two parts, one with whites and one with blacks.

They already are.

They just don’t know it yet.

But as the Dictatorship tightens it’s grip, it will become self-evident to anyone not goose-stepping to the Regime.

Huh. I find that VERY suprising. I thought blacks voted over 97 percent for the Kenyan.

At this point if blacks haven't realized that the dhimmi party is using them like a cheap hooker, then what is there to do?

Its sad really because blacks could contribute so much if they weren't burdened w/ this self-destructive greivance mentality.

Black leaders that do state the truth are shouted down and ridiculed. Blacks that have achieved great things, unless they follow the partyline, are denigrated instead of emmulated.

So just how are republicans, or conservatives supposed to address that and be honest? I don't know.

Sorry - we don’t play identity group politics. Individuals with brains vote for us. If there aren’t enough of those left in America, well, no imitation Democrat scams would make any difference in our results, anyway.

I thought blacks voted over 97 percent for the Kenyan.

Depending on whose study you read, the point spread is 92-97% voted for skin color over America.

By their deeds shall ye know them...

Do you really want to go there?

This is propganda piece from somebody with an agenda.

It's his snapshot of what he thinks is going on at one moment in time.

Nothing more than that.

How things will look five or ten years down the road is hard to say.

The fact that some conservatives keep calling him “The Kenyan” is a part of the problem.

“Gee, we call him a’Kenyan’ as a perjorative, but why won’t people of color vote for us?

Even if they were right, the people who keep making an issue of his birthplace have done more harm than good. I know a heck of a lot of Irish who were/are as conservative as anyone posting here, but damned if they didn’t rally around Kennedy and would have done so even if it had been proven he was born in Dublin.

The Republicans cannot appeal to race. It must stay on a conservative message. It applies to all races.

The second you try to appeal to latinos etc. the game is over.

The GOP could win by being constitutional conservatives. The puppetmasters are still trying to get around that.

Imagine what would've happened if we'd had a candidate all conservatives trusted, instead of Mitt Romney. One that isn't afraid to have a conversation with black, hispanic, and poor voters about how conservative principles would lift them up.

Nobody's going to switch allegience to a party of corporate greed. Are the RINOs really this delusional?

Oh puh-leaze. Do you have some form of white guilt going on here? This issue is not with conservatives or whites or anything like that. Its all about black racism and the fact that they view us as racists simply because we disagree with Obama.

“Voter suppression efforts?” Really?

It’s so unfair the GOP is suppressing:

voting multiple times in the same precinct or other precincts
urban precincts having a 115% turnout, and not one vote for a Republican
dead people voting
pets voting
voting democrat without even leaving home, but we all know you voted democrat because the poll list and machine count says you did
voting in exchange for a bottle of Thunderbird
boxes and boxes of “recently discovered ballots” laying around in car trunks in case the vote is close; again, each and every one of these votes being for democrats

Yeah, the folks got the right to vote.

I realize that what I am about to write will be considered racist, but the fact is that there are genetic differences among the various races that affect emotions, intellect, etc. That is a biological fact, and an anthropologist skilled in anatomy can identify a person’s race with just few bones. The author of the “Bell Curve” was crucified for its findings about the distinctions among the races. Even though scientists know about these differences, they are not permitted to be discussed. This is what PC does. Blacks and Whites have a different worldview that is heavily influenced by genetics. There isn’t anything that can be done about it. It is simply a matter of nature.

But the reaction to the tweet proves it wrong: Rosa Parks obviously failed to end racism.

The RNC's next tweet clarified:

Previous tweet should have read "Today we remember Rosa Parks' bold stand and her role in fighting to end racism."

Normalcy Bias infects most everyone.

Because to truly admit to oneself where we have arrived as a nation would short circuit most people who would simply prefer to hear smooth and easy things.

We saw our last ‘honest’ national election back in 2008.

When Obama said today ‘We aren’t going back” - there was a lot more to his intent than just health care.

This is their glorious People’s Revolution - and they are NOT going to allow us to go back to what we once were.

And the GOP Ruling Class wants a seat at the new table of power, or at minimum a stay from the camps and death panels. So they will be Judenrats for the regime in power.
