I have read that the Health.gov site is linked to a datahub (all IRS and other fed data on all of us) and that Navigators have access to that hub. To me, that means it’s likely that hackers can get past the non-existant security on the main site and then access the hub so it won’t matter that I won’t enter information into the Obamacare site - they’ll probably (already have) get it anyway with little fuss.
“The navigators must undergo 20 to 30 hours of training, pass a certification test and renew their certification annually...”
I think a hair dresser/barber in Texas must take a two year course just to wash your hair.
Being a federal navigator is really easy, just belong to SEIU, OFA, MoveOn, or similar.
Most red states have rigorous requirements for navigators.
I looked into it in Indiana, you have to complete a college level course and pass an exam. The entire process costs over $1000.
