Medical director accused of harassing woman she called "homewrecker"
Houston Chronicle ^ | December 4, 2013 | Todd Ackerman

The medical director of Ben Taub Hospital's Emergency Center has been charged with criminal trespass and harassment, accused of threatening a woman she labeled a "homewrecker."

[snip]

The woman, warned by Siler-Fisher's husband that his wife was en route to the house, departed with her children before the doctor arrived, according to the charge. The charge also said surveillance video showed Siler-Fisher entering the home by kicking in the doggy door.

The woman told police that Siler-Fisher called twice to threaten her during the drive, using profanity and vulgar language. She also said the doctor tweeted her 25 text messages, one showing a photo inside the home, between Sunday and Monday morning.

Siler-Fisher could not be reached for comment.

Baylor issued a statement saying, "We understand that this is a private matter for Dr. Fisher and does not impact her work at Baylor College of Medicine."

Ben Taub is run by the county hospital district. It is certainly not prestigious; it’s anything but that, especially conidering all the truly great hospitals in the houston med center area.

To this woman’s credit at least she didn’t drive halfway across the country wearing a diaper with zip ties and duct tape on the trunk.

The withholding of sex within marriage is considered to be an abandonment of the marriage.

Even so, if the wife, or husband, is withholding sex, divorce is a Biblical option. It is a willful breaking of themarriage covenant.

Sex outside of marriage is never an option.

I agree that it breaks the marital covenant. Each partner trades the potential for other sex partners for the assurance that the other partner will do everything he/she can to meet sexual needs.

Fair enough, until one partner decides he/she (usually she) doesn't want to have sex anymore, which means the other partner becomes celibate, which he did not sign up for.

However, I am a little iffy about it being appropriate scriptural grounds for divorce. I think Christ was pretty clear that adultery was the sole ground.

There are a bunch of things a spouse can do that "break the marital covenant." I am wary of elevating all of them to proper Biblical grounds for divorce.

“Women are the leading initiators of divorces... we can argue over cause.”

Women are also much more likely to initiate violence in relationships.

” I do take issue with husbands whacking their wives with that scripture without also taking the responsibility to, as Paul put it, ‘love their wives as Christ loved the church’.”

Not to mention “being on blame” being the other side of the coin of the tiebreaker.

At our hospital priveleges are immediately suspended for any illegal activity, even moreso when there is violence involved

A covenant is just another word for a contract. If one party refuses to fulfill ones obligations, the other party has a legal right to void the contract.

The ending of a marriage due tomthe withholding of sex should only be done after all, efforts have been made to save it. Even so, the person who is refused sex should stay in the marriage until the children are grown. After that, they should feel no guilt in divorcing, and should be free to tell friends and family exactly the reason for ending the marriage.

I don’t think men come way out ahead in terms of the amounts of quantity of evil committed. I’m saying that when it all comes out, we’ll all be surprised that just how evil the women were along with the men. You’d think God would have spared a few more of the better women of Sodom and Gomorrah along with Lot’s family, but he didn’t. And we know what happened to Lot’s wife and we know what Lot’s daughters did to Lot when he was drunk! In my job as an RN, you would not believe the instances I run across of the connivance of women when it comes to their family members as well as their attempts to manipulate their stories when it is clear that what is going on with the patient isn’t what the stories are attempting to cover up. (particularly drug and alcohol abuse when a patient goes into DT’s, complicating their treatment plans).

It has been said that the hands that rock the cradles determine the course of nations and empires. Look at who rocks our children’s cradles and look at the state of our nations and world! That should tell you all you need to know regarding the complicity of women regarding the sins of the nations!

There is a reason why Revelations refers to the whore of Babylon as being a woman, mother of harlots. Zechariah 5, the passage I shared with you is the root of that passage in Revelation. What is interesting is that the angels involved in that passage had the faces of women and they were carrying her off like she was a contagion. It suggests that there are certain forms of evil in women that when taken root in the women of a society can destroy that society and that only specially prepared, spiritually empowered women have the means to contain that evil...if we can get enough women to wake up. Why do you think everyone on the left was so horrified regarding Sarah Palin?! Yeah, her kids made mistakes, maybe she has, too but her faith is undeniable...and it sends evil lib men, women, and gays just screaming!(a few freepers, too unfortunately)

There are spiritual issues that men are not equipped well to handle in the way super empowered Christian women can!

Why blame the woman, the wife should kick the sh-t out of her husband. He would probably be unfaithful with another female...I am sure the female didn’t rape the husband. I once told my husband that if he ever wanted a divorce, lets talk, but if he was unfaithful I’d take him for every penny he had...We also decided that the one that wanted the divorce had to take the 5 children we had...One should talk over such things within their marriage...
