The White House confirmed on Thursday President Obama had met his uncle, Onyango Obama, who was granted legal residency to the country this week — reversing a previous statement.
The White House had previously told The Boston Globe that the president had never met his uncle, after Onyango — referred to as Omar — was arrested in 2011 for drunk driving.
But it revised its statement on Thursday, saying the press office had not actually asked the president about his relationship with his uncle before talking to the Globe in 2011.
“The president first met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school,” White House spokesman Eric Schultz told the Globe.
“The president did stay with him for a brief period of time until his apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months, but after law school they fell out of touch. The president has not seen him in 20 years, has not spoken with him in 10.”
Obama’s uncle, who had been living in the country illegally for nearly 40 years, told a deportation hearing on Wednesday that Obama briefly stayed with him at his apartment during college.
The White House maintained that the deportation case was processed without interference, according to the Globe.
President Obama’s aunt was also granted asylum in 2010 by the same judge.
Just imagine how the MSM would have treated a Republican candidate with known illegals in their immediate family. It’s different when you are a Democrat.
This calls for a congressional subpoena to get the lush to tell all he knows about the imposter.

No he didn’t fib! It’s just that he was doing so much pot and coke back then that he forgot.
It is a criminal charge to sneak into the US. Obama was holing up with a criminal.
These are the biggest bunch of liars I’ve ever seen. They’re saying either obama knew in 2011 the story was wrong or he never heard the story. How in the hell can these people talk with a straight face? And how in the hell does the media cover for this other than bold faced lying themselves.
I believe Uncle Omar has information obama was born in Kenya. So, if he ever went public they could say “The president’s extended family is large. He has no idea who this is. He’s never met him.” Then the truth came out. So, Uncle Omar doesn’t get deported for his silence.

Ain’t it amazing how that little detail just “slips” from our president’s steel-trap of a mind?
And they’re not even saying obama mis-spoke. They’re saying he never said he didn’t know his uncle. Someone else lied for him.
Confirmation that the press office is just making stuff up as they go....
