The Obama administration has repeatedly refused to say how many problems related to 834s still exist. But according to Bob Laszewski, the 834s problem is endemic of a broken backend at the federal exchange. The administration may have fixed many of the problems that the public encounters in their interaction with the site. Problems that the insurance companies are facing are only going to get worse.

The back end is where 90% of the work takes place, and if that is not working, they are NOT going to be able to fix that in a few weeks.

Wiat until (6) months from now when people start finding out the administration will adjust their coverage, costs and deductibles.
The cruddy part will be when they learn two things:
1. They will have to re-enroll, starting the whole process over.
2. They never paid for their plan or under paid. “An adjustment has been to your costs so you can continue to enjoy everything Obamacare® is doing for you”.
I imagine some will be shocked to learn they won’t simply be asked to oay more each month but, will be required to fork over a “Yuge!” Lump sum to avoid interruption of everything ObamaCare® is doing to make your life better and bring a smile to your face.

There are going to be a whole lot of people showing showing up at the hospital and getting billed at “retail”. That ought to stop a few hearts.

This may be the point where the gubbamint steps in an offers a "bailout" that leads into single payer.
They have millions of families confronted with the desperation of imminent bankruptcy and offer a way out. How many will take it?
Then the government says "From now on we'll do this..."
And while the rest of the system is left to collapse, government, in the chaos, expands into the single payer system.

Unfortunately, that seems like the most likely scenario. I’d have more hope if the Republicans would fight.
Ignorance of the free market is widespread.
It’s my firm belief that the top priority of 0vomit is to acquire power and to destroy America. NOT to provide healthcare to anyone.
It’s also my firm belief that the top priority of the software contract was to line the pockets of cronies (Moochelle’s college buddy). There was never any concern for making the software work properly or for what the cost would be.
This is criminal.
People are getting canceled by their insurance company, then they try to sign up for Obamacare and the website is broke. No insurance between the cancellation and their first payment to the new insurance.
Who fills in the gap? People are dying , peoples problems they were getting cared for are getting worse. Why isn’t there a mass march on the White House and why isn’t Pelosi being dragged down the street on a rail.?
And when we get another Dem controled House, Senate and Prez, we will see MANDATORY insurance payments come out of your paychecks just like FICA and IRS taxes, with penalties and enforcement following standard IRS practices.
It is not the law now, BUT IT WILL BE!
I am convinced that the ObamaCare “surge” numbers are completely PHONEY. Their whole purpose is to keep waivering Democrats from jumping ship. So far there is no way for anybody to REALLY enroll via the ObamaCare website because there is NO payment system. Therefore they are just making up numbers to pretend their is a “surge” to make idiots like Mary Landrieu feel better...for now.
I can’t understand why they don’t hire a half million clerks, put them in FEMA trailers, give them Obamaphones and paper, and bypass the stupid website.
Plus it helps the employment stats bigtime.
The census hired 635,000 clerks no problem.
