The Obama administration is about to approve a rule that will ensure the death of golden and bald eagles for the next 30 more years.
Hundreds of thousands of birds die each year flying into the deadly turbine blades atop the soaring towers that compose wind farms. The rule will give wind farms thirty year permits for the non purposeful take of eagles-that is where the take is associated with but not the purpose of, the activity. The take of eagles is also a euphemism for the slaughter of them.

UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not surprising he’s willing to kill the mascot of the country he hates.
What about the eaglets?!
Other, fossil fuel energy companies routinely get fined millions for a few birds, and the ‘greenies’ get a pass for 30yrs and millions of birds. Go figure.
Buck Ofama and the Demon he rode in on.....
Effing hypocritical POS!
In 30 years these wind farms will nothing more than rusting abandoned eyesores. I hate those things. Not only are they killing eagles and other raptors but bats by the thousands.
Kind of like the thick layer of black filthy pollution coating the Soviet Bloc cities. It’s okay if the government does it or makes excuses though law. Birds of a feather plummet together.
He’s not real fond of ANYTHING intrinsically American, is he : /

DDT never killed a single eagle, but it was banned. Millions of humans have died as a result. (It was claimed, but never proved, that DDT caused eagle eggs to have soft shells, resulting in some eagles not being born. Of course, thousands of eagles were born during the DDT era, or how else would they be here today.)
Same with solar. My local government installed solar panels on some buildings, using Federal grants, of course. In approx. 28-30 years they will pay for them selves, howevr they are expected to only last 20 years.
Kill the eagles for the sake of “green energy”, but screw solid communities well-being for the sake of a snail.
One of the manufacturing sites I visit on occasion paid a hefty fine last year because three migratory birds landed in their waste-water treatment pond and got sucked into an intake pipe.
Outrageous. Eagles are much more valuable than useless wind turbines.
