Obama to Give Wind Farms 30-Year Pass on Eagle Deaths

The Obama administration is about to approve a rule that will ensure the death of golden and bald eagles for the next 30 more years.

Hundreds of thousands of birds die each year flying into the deadly turbine blades atop the soaring towers that compose wind farms. The rule will give wind farms thirty year permits for the “non purposeful take of eagles-that is where the take is associated with but not the purpose of, the activity.’’ The take of eagles is also a euphemism for the slaughter of them.

Wind mill farms = Bassomatics for birds. Besides, we don't need no stinking eagles. Seriously, the delusion of the leftists is amazing.

About six years ago, I was watching a German documentary on the surge upward in windmills. It was a personalized piece...they actually spent thirty minutes with the maintenance guy who went out each morning to a “farm”.

As the maintenance guy arrives....he pulls out this plastic bag. The camera crew asked what that was for as they are walking up to the first windmill. The maintenance guy bent over and picked up a dead bird, and noted it was for hauling the dead ones away...real crisp dry humor...as a German would deliver it.

I’d guess he picked up two or three at that site. The camera guy asked...how often does this happen. And the maintenance guy said...”everyday”.

I just sat there and thought you ought to have tens of thousands of environmentalists all disturbed over this fact in Germany. Strangely enough....they say nothing. You have to figure that 50,000 birds daily in Germany....are getting whacked by the blades. Statistically, it’d take thirty years but you’d eventually kill off the bird population.

That's the thing about these bird blenders...

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Considering his US Attorney in this region attempted to prosecute seven oil companies over the questionable deaths of 28 migratory birds found floating on water in pits on some 7000 producing and 200+ drilling locations in North Dakota (it was thrown out by the judge), this is indeed unacceptable.

The US Attorney wanted fines and jail time for oil company execs, and these were not endangered species.
