This is the foolishness of gun control. Do we really think that people planning to commit murder are going to register their guns with the government? Hunters will register their guns because they are using guns for an legally acceptable reason unlike criminals.

And you notice how the gun control woman quoted sees no problem with the victims of these mass shootings not being able to protect themselves. She also does not mention how a gun registry would prevent someone from shooting other people or committing any crime.

“when you go hunting, you have to register the car that you drive, so why not your gun?””

Oh Canada.

Our position is simple: when you go hunting, you have to register the car that you drive, so why not your gun?”

Do they still have traffic accidents and drunk driving? If so, registering the cars is clearly not a factor. It isn't for firearms either.

I spent a lot of time in Quebec as a young man and I love the place. I love the people. But, damn, their politics are screwy.

Is it their Catholic heritage that gave them a love of authority? I mean, they've all left the church now, but did they replace it with love of government?

Or is it just something in French blood?
