Obama Is The Danger Constitution Was Designed To Avoid

Executive Orders: A liberal constitutional scholar warns of the concentration of power not only in the hands of one branch of government but in a single man who ignores the Constitution and acts of Congress on a whim.

As the story goes, Benjamin Franklin emerged from Independence Hall at the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on Sept. 18, 1787, when a woman asked, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" Franklin is said to have replied, "A republic, madam — if you can keep it."

The Founders designed a system of checks and balances among three branches of government that was based on the consent of the governed. The power grab that is ObamaCare, nationalizing one-sixth of the economy, is just the latest example of an increasingly imperial presidency that ignores the Constitution, the will of Congress, the laws sworn to be faithfully executed and the will of the people who never wanted it in the first place.

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, recently noted to Fox News' Sean Hannity how President Obama "extended the employer mandate for a year, even though the law says 'shall commence in each month after December of 2013.' He extended the individual mandate, stretched that out and now the small-package plans. There's at least three times that he's violated the Constitution with ObamaCare."

When confronted with his lies that under ObamaCare you could keep your plan and doctor if you like them, and millions were losing the coverage they liked, the president held a press conference where he decreed that insurance companies could violate the "law of the land" and reissue policies that did not contain Obama-Care's 10 essential mandates, if only for a year.

Not without precedent of course, but he is more powerful and nefarious than, say, Andrew Jackson.

And the gutless and emasculated GOP raise not a squawk. The Republicans are guilty by their inaction, which amounts to tacit approval.

A pox on both their houses!

Not enough spine in the House to impeach the poofter. Doesn’t matter if the Senate wouldn’t convict; it’s Congress’ duty to act against Zero and the sodomite’s high crimes and misdemeanors.

You know it’s bad when doctrinaire liberals are concerned about Obama:
.....”This prompted Jonathan Turley, a liberal law professor at George Washington University and supporter of the Affordable Care Act, to tell the House Judiciary Committee at a Dec. 3 hearing, titled “The President’s Constitutional Duty to Faithfully Execute the Laws,” that Obama’s abuse of executive power has grown to the point that “he’s becoming the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid.”

Ok. That's great. I'm glad that this is evidence that 'he' broke the law.

SO! I ask.... where are the 'lawsuits' by conservatives on this point????

If Obama doesn’t feel constrained by the Constitution in these instances, why should he yield in any? It’s much more than a whim. He has been covertly attacking his political enemies with the IRS and most likely the NSA. How soon until he uses the courts to neutralize conservatives. How soon before he abandons any pretense of a rule of law.

The crazy thing is that the Republican leadership are more distracted by the Tea Party challenges than they are by what Obama is doing.

The constitution does not exist for Hussein. He just had Homeland Security hire 25 liberal lawyers who have worked in their past to being in illegals, to take charge of immigration and gave them the power to bring in illegals. These lawyers now control immigration so there is no need for Hussein to get congress to pass any immigration laws.

The article about these new lawyers is on FR. I’ll find it and post the link in case you missed it.

I kind of would like to see our Military leaders in the Afgan field tell the troops, Pack em up, we’ve a bigger job at home to take care of.

How many divisions does the Tea Party have?

Obama has purged senior military leadership and secured over 2 billion rounds of ammo. And people wonder why the republican leadership refuses to bring Articles of Impeachment . . .

Here is the video posted on FR about these new lawyers hired to bring in illegals. I can’t find this in text, just the video. This is the new immigration law as these lawyers can’t be stopped.

“Not enough spine in the House to impeach the poofter. Doesn’t matter if the Senate wouldn’t convict; it’s Congress’ duty to act against Zero and the sodomite’s high crimes and misdemeanors.”

It certainly matters if doing it, and especially doing it prematurely, causes you to lose the ability to resist at all...see 1998.

The better case is, now that people’s attention is there, to show what has been going on and develop a political will amongst the people. The will to remove must be th among the greater part of the people. It’s going to take more than even winning all of the races in 2014 to remove him.

They’ve been made, and even posted on FR. Via Oklahoma, for example.

The big problem is standing.

We 'lack standing' to sue. Obama's men in black said so.

Obama was in contempt of the Constitution the moment he announced his run for the Presidency. Obama is not a natural born citizen (despite the ridicule of Ann Coulter; et. al.); ergo, he had no business running for President in the first place. Then, when Obama became President, he violated the sanctity of contracts part of the Cpnstitution. It is almost as if he enjoys spitting on our Constitution.

The Constitution and the Government was written and formed when we had men with balls leading the country.

Todays Congress is very short of men like that.
If they had any balls they would be removing this clown from the WH through Impeachment.
