Administration officials knew in early August that a federal health insurance marketplace for small businesses wouldnt be ready on time, but didnt say so until days before its scheduled Oct. 1 launch, House Republicans said Friday.
Internal emails from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services officials and CGI Federal, the contractor charged with building the site, show that the some administration agreed on Aug. 13 that the Internet marketplace for small businesses, the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP), would launch Nov. 1 for employers and two weeks later for employees. CGI said that it couldnt get the site done before then.

Keep in mind that the gop is merely the good cop half of a bad cop/ good cop routine. The policies of the gop wing of the uniparty are not significantly different from those of the ‘rat wing of the uniparty.
