The Horst-Wessel-Lied

The flag on high! The ranks tightly closed!
The SA march with quiet, steady step.
Comrades shot by the Red Front and reactionaries
March in spirit within our ranks.
Comrades shot by the Red Front and reactionaries
March in spirit within our ranks.

Clear the streets for the brown battalions,
Clear the streets for the storm division!
Millions are looking upon the swastika full of hope,
The day of freedom and of bread dawns!

Millions are looking upon the swastika full of hope,
The day of freedom and of bread dawns!

For the last time, the call to arms is sounded!
For the fight, we all stand prepared!
Soon Hitler's banners will fly over all streets.
The time of bondage will last but a little while now!

I hate to say this but it seems that women are oblivious to their surroundings most of the time.

And so are most others. Between talking on their phones, texting, and listening to music, they are easy prey. Most people have no clue what is going on about them when in public. They are simply fixated on going between Point A and Point B or distracted by inward thoughts.

Just look around when you are out and about. You will see the inattention everywhere. You will realize you are often doing the same thing.

Animals in the wild are constantly on alert as they know danger can come at anytime from any place. They have also seen their own kind preyed upon. Perhaps they themselves have been very lucky and escaped a predator. These are lessons which stick.

When in an environment with predators, one needs to develop the same sense and attention to surroundings a common chipmunk does. That begins with actually admitting there might be a danger nearby. Most people in today's society don't even get that far unless they live in the inner cities where the threat is daily obvious.

I know. My Dad, BIL, and myself are constantly badgering my Mom and sisters to "take your pistol and flashlight, don't go THERE, let us go with you...".

About 3 mos ago I rode with Mom over to Whitehall, an iffy suburb of Pittsburgh. She parked in the lot on the side of the business, head on to the building.

I got out of the passenger side and walked around the front of the car next to the building.

black male comes walking down the sidewalk in front of the building and walked right by me without seeing me. Saw Mom alone in the car, walked 30' off the sidewalk to within 2' of the car, stopped and stared at her through the windshield, slowly walked the length of the car staring inside going to the back corner and stopped. He looked around, turned and took a step back and then saw me at the front of the car with my hand under my shirt at my belt.

He got an "Oh s***! Look on his face, dropped his eyes, turned and walked away.

Mom never noticed what he was doing.

Polar bears do routinely hunt humans, are extremely dangerous and dine on dark meat.

Imagine you are walking alone and Concealed Carrying as a group of young black men approach... So, what do you do?

Look 'em in the eye, grin maniacally, and brandish.

Of course, here in Jersey carrying and brandishing are both crimes.
