A video has surfaced from the Al Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria advocating the systemic genocide of Shi'ite Muslims for allegedly "damaging Mohammed's legacy" in perpetrating their beliefs.
The video opens with a speech from a judge in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, which has been a focal point of territorial fighting between the forces of Syrian President Bashar Assad and rebel forces. The judge's job: to establish rule over the Syrian city through the implementation of Sharia, or Islamic religious law - including doling out execution orders.
Brandishing a Kalashnikov assault rifle, the judge turns to jihadi fighters in the Sinai Peninsula, urging them to resist calls from the Egyptian army to back down from fighting.
"Don't fear the Egyptian or Israeli armies, the judge declares" and calls for jihadi fighters to renounce their commanding officers and remind them that on the Islamic Day of Judgement, they will be held accountable for calling off the (global) Jihad pan-Islamist organizations like Al Qaeda support.

There are a lot of morons out there who claim there’s a strict Sunni-Shia split, and that every jihadist is a Sunni. They are either ignorant or liars. Jihad is jihad — jihadists don’t care where the funding comes from or who writes the check.
Zero sided with the Iranian-allied Morsi regime in Egypt (and he still does); he pretended to support the uprising in Syria, but rolled right over on that; his let’s-give-mullahs-nukes deal with Iran isn’t new, it’s part of his pattern.
Obama bows to the Saudi kings. Then he acquiesces to the Iranian mullah’s demands for uranium enrichment on the way to the atomic bomb. Then he takes the side of the Al-Qaeda dominated Syrian rebels against Iran’s client, Assad, infuriating the Saudis.
WTF is going on here? Is it that he can’t deny anything to any Muslim who asks, but doesn’t want to take sides?
I wish I’d read your post before I wrote mine.
The perspective that jihad trumps the split, usually, and that Obama wasn’t as serious about Syria as he was about helping Iran is very interesting. It would explain why he backed Qaddafy’s overthrow—even though it gave Sunni (Al-Qaeda linked) radicals a lot of power. So, he’s a jihadist first, an Iranian sympathizer second (or maybe that’s Valerie Jarrett talking), and an overall Islamist supporter third.
We should always fund and send arms to whichever faction is losing......
