First lady appears to fail to see the funny side as her husband takes a 'selfie' with Helle Thorning-Schmidt and David Cameron
For a memorial service it was a remarkably jovial scene: Barack Obama, David Cameron and Helle Thorning-Schmidt, the Danish prime minister, huddled together for a smart phone photograph.
But one person looked distinctly less amused by the world leaders' "selfie" - Michelle Obama.
The First Lady stared straight ahead, hands clasped in her lap, while her husband laughed with the Europeans at Nelson Mandela's memorial in Johannesburg.
Another photograph shows shows her looking on, unsmiling, as Mr Obama shared a joke with Ms Thorning-Schmidt and patted her on the shoulder.

I can’t remember another time where I looked at a photo and though Mrs Obama was the classy one. How embarrassing to have the leader of the free world acting like a teenager at a state funeral
President Selfie is at it again. This wasn’t about flirting...it was about feeding his narcissism.
I will be honest, if I am at a funeral of someone who has been debilitated and bedridden by various illnesses, and has been at death's bed for quite a period of time -- I am not going to be mourning. 95 years was beyond the fourscore years allotted to the strong in the Bible - so Mr. Mandela had a good run of years.
If I was at Mandela's funeral, though, I would be mourning - but simply because I thought the individual was probably destined for hell (based on what we know. Hopefully he had a private conversion before he passed on).
If I thought the person was probably destined for Heaven -- I'd be happy. I wouldn't be snappy 'selfies', but I certainly would not be sad.
So, as much as I'm glad to take a crow-bar to Mr. Obama wherever possible, this is not one of those cases -- except for the self-photo part - that was pretty tacky.
“Selfie” has got to be the stupidest word the millennials ever came up with!

Even Michelle knows that its inappropriate to act like this at a memorial service, even if it is for a Commie dictator..besides, Michelle knows that Obama isn’t interested in women, only dudes so she doesn’t need to worry about him pulling a Clinton
