Democratic Senator Patty Murray and Representative Paul Ryan scheduled a news conference for 6 p.m. EST to announce the details of the deal they worked out. …

As details of a budget deal trickled out of Washington on Tuesday, conservative groups prepared to oppose any agreement that would alter the automatic spending cuts from the 2011 deal.

This was our VP candidate last year. The whole 2012 campaign was a big joke!

I hear that!!

What's worse is for me Ryan made voting for Romney, ahem, palatable....I'm having a hard time trusting anyone who would enter the political arena anymore.

Something about that DC water....

As Milton Friedman said. the rate of spending is the real rate of taxation.

I very reluctantly agree with you. We should all know that there were going to be no cuts. To do so would have compromised the 2014 elections in the eyes of the DC elite.

So in exchange for spending more money, what does the GOP win?

We need to keep our eyes on the prize—which is taking over the Senate in ‘14. The driver for taking the Senate is Obamacare, and a budget battle will take the focus off of Obamacare.

The grace of God is what militates against this, however.

In the end, yes, but not now here on Earth, unfortunately.

Be very careful, the news that claims GOP are in favor of Obamacare was written by a mischievous lefty. Not a good source to make the claim you are making.

Even on earth it can make strong inroads. The trouble is that people won’t practice it.

The deal would require federal workers to make larger pension contributions

Well, now...nothing wrong with that.

The problem with your statement is, most Americans already knew that most if not all RINO’s have always supported Obamacare, in fact, wasn't RINO Romney who ran for President on “repeal and REPLACE?”

The RINO establishment only want to tinker around the edges of Obamacare, they are in fact in love with the idea of controlling every Americans healthcare, don't be fooled, the RINO’s love Obamacare, they are going to hide this fact from the American people, much like they hide their desire to grant amnesty to more than 40 million Mexican Nationals who have illegally entered this Country!

Enough said!

The trouble is that people won’t practice it.

The Earth was given to Satan, our redemption it the acceptance of Christ as the Savior.

Yes we can fight, but the outcome is inevitable.

In the long run the budget is far more important!

I don’t give a rats ass about health insurance.

Get government completely put of medicine and eliminate all health insurance and return to what health care was when i was growing up, get sick, got to doctor or hospital and pay for it.

health care was good and cheap.

Might be true, but what is the alternative? I guess we give up because so far I see no reaction to the tree of liberty being chopped down to its last branch. Not from Congress and nothing from the citizens so far. Crickets are chirping.

What do you suggest? A fair election? *snort*

If I am wrong, please correct me.

We can start by recognizing who the RINO’s are, and vote them out of office, along with all socialist who are bringing down this Nation.

Begin the Article 5 State process for submitting proposed amendments to the US Constitution for adoption by the States so this can never happen again!

In example: term limits for Supreme Court Justices; no more run away administrations like the EPA, IRS, etc.

Repeal the 16th Amendment of the US Constitution and eliminate the IRS, stop feeding the beast!

Stop supporting the RINO’s and eliminate all socialist from public office all the way down to dog catcher at the local level!

At least that is a start!

Paul Ryan is a lightweight. He demonstrated this in his “debate” with that other moron Biden.
