Executive Director of GOP Strategy Group Fired
Talking Points Memo ^ | DECEMBER 11, 2013 | DANIEL STRAUSS

Posted on 12/11/2013 2:07:44 PM PST by HenryArmitage

Paul Teller, the executive director of the conservative Republican Study Committee, has reportedly been fired, a senior GOP aide confirmed to TPM on Wednesday.

Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA, pictured), the chairman of the RSC, asked for Teller's resignation, according to Politico on Wednesday. The RSC serves as the policy group for roughly 170 conservative members in the House.

A senior GOP aide said that Teller had been "divulging private, member level conversations and actively working against strategies developed by the RSC members."

Teller's firing is also notable given that when Scalise took the reigns of the RSC in 2012 he decided to keep Teller as executive director.

The GOPe is going to throw the 2014 election at this rate, we will end up with a one-party state, it seems this is what they are aiming for.

"He was reportedly working with outside groups to undermine the Ryan-Murray budget deal..."

ALL the RSC should be doing whatever it take 'to undermine the Ryan-Murray budget deal'.

I have read a couple more articles, and it sound like you are right:

"Teller, a staunch conservative with long-standing ties to outside groups opposing the deal, is accused of working behind the scenes to derail the budget agreement." according to the National Journal: http://www.nationaljournal.com/congress/rsc-fires-executive-director-for-leaking-member-level-talks-to-outside-groups-20131211

WE NEED A COORDINATED "DEFUND THE GOP" CAMPAIGN BETWEEN FR (AND OTHER WEBSITES) AND TALK RADIO (Hosts and networks). We need everyone on board: Rush, Beck, the Salem guys, (Although Hugh Hewitt and Medved may not like it) local talkers, JR, Townhall, Newsmax, WND, and I was going to say Fox, but...

They create one website, where you can donate money to local or national candidates DIRECTLY, preventing one penny from making it into the hands of the RNC.

Glenn Beck has already suggested this. He posted the #DefundTheGOP tweet, several weeks ago.

Wish a conservative group like FreedomWorks, Senate Conservatives or Heritage (the groups Midge McConnell is having hissy fits over) could hire this guy.

Sounds like he was working with the Establishment GOP against the more conservative, and Tea Party folks.

Does Paul ride a Harley, come from California and have a cousin named Jax whose wife was recently murdered?
