Lamar Alexander’s Chief Of Staff Investigated For Child Pornography
WREG TV ^ | 12/11/13 | George Brown

(Washington, D.C.) U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) says the home of his Chief of Staff is being searched.

Alexander says the search is related to allegations involving child pornography with Ryan Loskarn who has been his COS since November of 2011.

In a statement, Alexander said he is, “stunned, surprised and disappointed by what I have learned. Based on this information, I immediately placed Mr. Loskarn on administrative leave without pay. The office is fully cooperating with the investigation.”

And the RINO senator knows NOTHING about it, this is his chief of staff, now on unpaid leave.

In fairness, why would he? Most kiddy-diddlers tend to keep a low profile.

May G-d protect the innocent and move the guilty to repentance.

I agree. It’s not like he was advertising it.

It would be very helpful if the opposition wouldn’t give the brown shirts any ammo, though. Avoiding child pornography would seem to be a given. If he’s guilty, then that was a stupid, evil thing to do.

You are exactly right. I think this is why so many republicans are scared to death. Not because they’re dirty. But that they know the NSA can MAKE them dirty. Of course, some of them really are dirty.

You may have a point, then again if he were keeping tabs on his chief of staff as he should have, he would have known the man was a weirdo.

A lot of looking the other way is done in DC.

If being a weirdo was an employment disqualification, a lot of freepers would be out of a job.

In the absence of evidence to the contrary, I just have no reason to believe that Alexander had reason to suspect Loskarn of wrongdoing. It’s not like he walked into the office and announced “Damn, I love kiddie porn!”

(If Mr Loskarn did make such an announcement, then I withdraw my defense of Senator Alexander.)

One of the first things you learn when the life of somebody around you takes a turn to the scandalous is how little you actually know about the people around you. Guy whose wedding I was best man at got caught cheating (with the woman whose wedding he’d been best man at), next thing you know a whole list of “side women” start surfacing, and it’s an amazing and shocking list. And we’d spent years in the same office, and more years in adjacent cubes, and had about an 80% overlap in friends, including most of his side women. All kinds of whacky stuff going on while I wasn’t looking, and that’s just when somebody doing something immoral, add illegal to the mix (and not needing a “partner”) and the ability to have shocking revelations grows exponentially.

Come on TN, primary out Lamar... for being an only half red, plaid RHINO. Otherwise the left will pop up in the fall with some faux pious leftist and brand Lamar the new JoePa. And instead of the improved representation possible via legit issues TN will be conned into electing someone even worse than Lamar. The work on popping the other Cork in ‘18.

The timing on this sort of stinks. This is the beginning of the ‘14 election season and Alexander is a target of the conservative wing. Is it possible that someone has been sitting on this until just the right time? If so, that looks like an inside job.
