French bureaucrats gathering information for the national census may need to go back to history class after they sent a letter to Napoleon.

Official census body Insee addressed a letter to the late French emperor – and were told to forward their request to Saint Peter.

Insee is now facing questions about the accuracy of their work as Napoleon has been dead for nearly 200 years.

FRANCE'S official census body is facing questions about the accuracy of its work - after addressing a letter to the late French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.

The letter from Insee caught the attention of a post office worker in the old town of Ajaccio, Corsica.

Addressed to "Napoleon Bonaparte, 3 rue Saint-Charles, Ajaccio", the occupant at the address had returned it to La Poste with a note on the envelope reading: "Died in 1821 - please forward to Saint Peter".

The post office returned the letter to its sender, Insee in the Midi-Pyrénées, accompanied with the sticker: "Not known at this address".

Insee is France's official national statistics body, gathering a wide range of data on residents and businesses. -

They should be looking for the 12th Imam.

Sacre Bleu!

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

O stranger, tell the Lacedaemonians that we lie here, obedient to their command.

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

They should be looking for the 12th Imam.

France's huge, militant muslim population will undoubtedly applaud any efforts in this direction.

Actually, I’d more seriously suggest a search for the next Charles Martel.

I'm absolutely confident that the French Left will find a way to make that happen, assuming of course that they haven't done so already.  Napoleon already being on the voter lists may explain why they sent him a census letter to begin with.  Just a guess, of course.

Yeah, and he wasn’t even French.

As long as they can get him to vote, I don't think that the French Left will be concerned at all.  After all, the American Left wants illegal aliens to vote.

France may need to start cloning deceased leaders if they are ever going to come to terms with the islamofascist invasion.

Actually, I’d more seriously suggest a search for the next Charles Martel.

He would be a good candidate for cloning.  He would undoubtedly be able to get the militant muslim problem under control.

I'm sure that the Waterloo, Iowa Democrat Party has him listed as a registered voter in good standing.
