...Expert Warns Southern California Isn’t Ready For Major Quake
A leading earthquake expert has issued a dire warning to Californians about the expected impact of a major disruption to the San Andreas fault line.
The title of Dr. Lucy Jones’ lecture this week to the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco was “Imagine America without Los Angeles”.
As KCAL9′s Dave Bryan reports, Jones, a Science Advisor for Risk Reduction at the U.S. Geological Survey, says when the “Big One” hits Southern California, the damage could be much greater, and could last much longer, than most of us ever imagined

Actually Los Angles is becoming part of Mexico. There has been no effective resistance to the “Reconquesta”.

All that would happen would be that the healthy remaining [now] coastline would get infected with new fruits and nuts.

I have family in Newport Beach. Personally, I don’t care for California and definitely not LA. Talking to the leftys out there is an exercise in patience.
I do remind myself that not everyone has the intellectual rigor to navigate the ideological landscape and return sane.
Yep. I was thinking of calling Yoko Ono on the re-release with LA lyrics. But I got this horrible screech on the phone, and realized— she was singing. LOL.
So many lost wanderers and they latch onto “imagine”. Well it is easy— all you gotta do is go to Venezuela or Zimbabwe. Or our current WH occupants.
No more movies or television shows insulting my religion and my beliefs.
No more Mexican soccer fans running amok in the streets.
Many fewer Democrats in Congress.
No more Lakers
so....where’s the downside?
You can bet that massive amounts of federal monies will be sent to CA. Not enough to remedy the losses to the locals, but enough to put a hurt on the entire country. And LA will still be there, just changed.
The problem is that while La may go most of the popoulation will survive and come to a purple or red state near you.
