Now you might see a very interesting adversarial NK-China standoff, and then watch if/when Putin steps up to the plate to be friendly with Pyongyang and sense this opportunity.
It seems "Fishlips" (Jang Song Taek, RIP), before he was arrested recently and then machine-gunned yesterday by the regime, was working behind the scenes with the Chinese to get the fat, youngest one Kim Jong Un deposed, and replaced with the eldest brother, Kim Jong Nam, who is either in Macao or China somehere and more China-controlled, and go a more centrist, moderate, Chinese-style economic reform route for North Korea. There are three brothers here at play. Eldest (Kim Jong Nam) is from a different wife (of Kim Jong il), then Brother Number Two and Three are blood brothers. Brother Number Three is Kim Jong Un, now in power. He ordered his other elder brother, Kim Jong chol, to go and arrest Fishlips, as even Fishlips' close aides or military could not do it, it seems. I suspect he took a delegation of heavily armed secret police. It seems even a more hardline faction will emerge in Pyongyang. This is NOT good in a regional sense. PS I also note from photographs that "Fishlips" was apparantly roughed up a bit during his detention, i.e. wrists and hands turning purple, and also some swelling around the eyes where he might have been punched.

Early this week, the KCNA accused Jang of having improper relations with multiple women and having used drugs while wasting hard-earned foreign currency at casinos.
Also grabbing attention is whether or not Kim’s wife Ri Sol-ju will take part in the Dec. 17 event as she might have something to do with Jang’s purge, according to a report by a media outlet in Seoul.
It said that when North Korea executed nine music performers in August in an attempt to squelch rumors that Ri was related to a pornographic video, the North learned of an inappropriate relationship between Jang and Ri.
Members of the Unhasu Orchestra and Wangjaesan Art Troupe were said to have been killed because they were suspected of producing and appearing in a pornographic video. On Aug. 17, the nine were arrested and three days later, executed by firing squad at a training ground of a military academy on the outskirts of Pyongyang.
Ri was a singer with the Unhasu Orchestra before she married Kim Jong-un in June 2012. The fact that Ri has not been seen at the official events over the past 50 days also raise suspicions. Last year, Ri stood next to Kim Jong-un to commemorate the first anniversary of Kim Jong-il’s death.

Hers I surmise will be a convenient Pyongyang “auto accident” due to the fact that she is blood relative to Kim Jong-il, and that goes to far, even for these jack wagons in charge. However, the Boy must eliminate her, too, if she were part of a conspiracy to join with China in bolstering Kimg Jong Nam for a potential coup d’etat backed by China to topple Kim Jong Un, if she and Jang (Fishlips) were in anyway linked in that effort. Yes, she would disappear. But I think HE is he one made an example of, they will probably use the video of him being gruesomely machine gunned, to cadres up and down the length of the DPRK, and political officers will warn that this will happen to YOU if you engage in even a whisper of anti-State, anti-Party, anti-Kim activities. Brutual guys. But we always knew that.
