In his final weeks as mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg is getting his last word in on local legislation, from tobacco sales to public Wi-Fi.
Bloomberg has a few words left for Washington, too. The mayor called on Congress to "end the national epidemic of gun violence" during a Thursday press conference, two days before the one-year anniversary the Sandy Hook shooting in Newtown, Conn., that claimed innocent 26 lives.
"It's important that we remember all those that we lost and their families. The anniversary will obviously be a very painful time for them and a painful time, I think, for all Americans," Bloomberg said.

Actually, I think this emerges from the other end of the horses alimentary canal.
“Copper”
Rich people like Bloomberg have no need to carry guns because of the following reasons:
1. They have 24 hour bodyguards
2. They live in super-secure gated communities
3. All levels of government protect them as long as
they play ball.
If Bloomberg lived like the rest of us, he might not be opposed to people being armed. Then again, he could be an idiot liberal who is so scared of guns that he would insist that nobody else should own them either.
BINGO! We have a winner!
doomberg has killed more people with his rancid ideology than ALL of the people killed in Newtown times thousands... just look at the murder rate in nyc under his command and add up the dead bodies... if only those drones had been armed. doomberg worked to keep them victims... this is the corner stone of their evil religion.
Soon-to-be former Mayor Mike Bloomberg forgets that any new federal gun control law will most likely land up in the fed courts, including the USSC or the Supremes, which has had a history of defending Amendment number 2.
.....And it will get worse under the incoming new Mayor DeBlasso.
It’s “painful” for me every time Bloomberg opens his yap.
Sadly, he was the best mayor that NYC will have for a while.
He will directly order the murder of those that oppose him... he is a full blown communist.
.....Which could begin a possible second revolt.
The new gestapo: same as the old gestapo...
It just might at that.

Great news!
When Bloomberg is finally out of office, he will begin to face his punishment. That is, for the rest of his life, he will have to live in his skin. Every morning, when he looks into the mirror, he will see Bloomberg, and his mirror image will look like it wants to throw up in disgust.
All his money will avail him not. He cannot buy himself a longer life, and based on his lifestyle, he will not have much left to this one. And once he is gone, few will remember him for the little good he did; if he is remembered at all, it will be for his oppression of others, for his hatred of other people living pleasant lives of their own choices.
I suspect that Mayor Bloomberg is very, very, good at lying to himself.
When you say “copper”, do you really mean “Kapo”? Because that’s what Bloomberg is, a worthless self-hater who throws in with anyone for his own benefit.
The nadir of Bloomberg’s arrogance may have been when he told patriots demonstrating against the evil “Ground Zero Mosque” to clear off, this matter is for New Yorkers only.
No. “Copper” is a BBC series about an Irish police detective in New York’s Five Points from 1864 forward. He’s a somewhat tortured soul conflicted over having abandoned his family to fight in the Civil War realizing upon his return that his wife and young child have evidently been killed in the draft riots.
It’s a very hard-hitting, gritty series with lots of side stories marvelously threaded together.
IMHO highly recommended.
