PERRY For the 1,500-mile ride from Houston to Los Angeles last October, the 12 illegal immigrants had been crammed into a 2004 black Suburban with their driver and another man. Some sat in the very back, where there were no seats.
One later acknowledged he paid $400 for his spot.
Their trip ended not in sunny California but in northern Oklahoma when the driver fell asleep on Interstate 35 the morning of Oct. 21.
The Suburban rolled over one-and-a-half times inside the median and ended up on its top about a mile south of Perry, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. One passenger, Oscar Francisco Rodos-Molina, 18, of El Salvador, was killed.

The driver was, Jonathan Rene Martinez, 26, of Houston. He says here,,,I am not hiding anything from you. I am telling the truth. I have nothing to hide, Martinez said, according to the court affidavit. I am telling the truth. I do not know. I was just told to drive....This guy I was told to drive without asking any questions, writing his own ticket to the big house.. His lawyer..She said the most Martinez should have been charged with was negligent homicide, a misdemeanor. She said he wasn't hurt and would I guess he thought smuggling illegal aliens wasn't really a crime or he wouldn't have driven the Suburban loaded with illegal aliens.
These “aliens” - if they are going to live here - better be learning the laws they are supposed to be following and not claim ignorance.

Fix that...She said the most Martinez should have been charged with was negligent homicide, a misdemeanor. She said he wasn’t hurt and would have run off if he thought he had done something wrong..If he done something wrong,uh huh
Traveling from one sanctuary city to another can be risky. The Oklahoma highway department should send a bill to Los Angeles and Houston to help pay for cleanup.
Now if they were headed for Los Angeles, why were they on the road to Wichita KS?
They should have taken the interstate from Houston to LA, or went to OKC and got on the interstate 40.
Something here is not being told.

(Sometimes you need 7+ more ammo. LOTS MORE.)
Maybe he stuck around because he thought they could sue the highway department.

(This is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire; or both.)

Was the driver a US citizen?
That's the only reason I'd think this would be "news".
An illegal alien coyote that killed some fellow illegal?
An illegal killing a US citizen while driving drunk? Yawnie from the press.

(I had no IDEA I'd be paying for Obamacare. I thought it would be a rich guy.)
Ya just can’t find quality coyotes anymore!

I wonder if he will try to use the affluenza excuse, and say his parents were so wealthy, that he never learned the difference between right and wrong? Oh sorry, that only works when native born US citizens are killed. Sarc off
