Obama's Fall from Grace [a clown president]
The Amreican Thinker ^ | December 17, 2013 | J.R. Dunn

Posted on 12/17/2013 12:34:09 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

"..........How does a serious president handle this? He steps out of the spotlight, curtails the golf games with celebrities, persuades the wife to postpone further multi-million dollar vacations, abjures any serious or epoch-making speeches or public efforts. He lets other, lesser figures carry the public load for awhile....

This strategy would very likely work for the current chief executive as well. But I ask you -- does any of that sound like Barack Obama?

He can't back out of sight because of a little thing called "ObamaCare." He let the help handle that and it didn't work. Now it's attached as firmly as a ball and chain, and since he lacks both the grace and wit to cut his losses, it will dog his presidency for all the time that's left to it.

There's also the fact that he's been carried by media, mentor figures, and more shadowy elements all the way back to his stint at Harvard. It's not that he's grown to believe his own PR, but that he's never believed anything else. There is no depth to Obama -- the public figure is all you get, and anything that threatens the image threatens the whole man. So he will flail, and protest, and posture -- looking more asinine all the time. Look for plenty of PR events -- momentous speeches, vast promises, attempts to pull on the mantle of greater men, mountains giving birth to mice.

And how should the opposition handle it? Nothing simpler -- hammer it. Don't let an opportunity pass. Don't let him get away with anything. This is a God-given rent in virtual armor that many thought was utterly impregnable. We need to take as much advantage of it as possible......

Cathartic. You mean as in a medicine that causes the bowels to move or
a : purification or purgation of the emotions (as pity and fear) primarily through art
b : a purification or purgation that brings about spiritual renewal or release from tension
c: elimination of a complex by bringing it to consciousness and affording it expression

It would be somewhat like “c” if there was a pubbie plan or voice or anything in the organization having any merit at all or vision of anything but more of the same. There is no change. The politicos don’t want it. They will not change and must be expunged. We are at that awkward stage. Things don’t hurt enough people badly enough for change to be forced.

I enjoyed it! Immensely.

Dems will try in vain to use the hook to get him off the stage.

2014!

2016!

None of us has a time stamp.

I could go before dawn.

But I will enjoy this man’s fall today and rejoice over the havoc his presidency will reign down on his party — whether I’m here to see it or not.

I can’t wait to see the government issued photos of the first grifters family frolicking on their warm sunny Hawaiian vacation, while the rest of us freeze our rear ends off. I’ll stay warm knowing my taxes allow these scum to enjoy the finer things in life.
Let them eat cake, indeed.

Obama Family Vacation number????

17 days in Hawaii!

Will they travel together?

Will the dogs have their own transport?

Will the “beautiful” people drop in?

Will the locals suffer any inconvenience?

RE: “And how should the Republicans handle it? Nothing simpler — hammer it.”

I guess Boehner didn't read the memo.

He just funded ObamaCare for two years, and brags about it.

According to USA Today, Boehner plans to stuff Amnesty down our throats in January.

Yesterday, Drudge had an Iowa poll up.

Paul Ryan, the architect of the GOP budget surrender, leads all Republicans in the presidential primary.

Nothing simpler -- hammer it.

If ever there was a president who could be hammered on every aspect of his corrupt presidency, it's Obama.

To bad we only have a handful in congress and the senate who have the courage to do it.

Forget Congress — it’s “we the people” now!

The gloves are off. The American people have been given the green light (enough people have spoken out that it isn’t a “racist” thing to criticize Obama). They’ve been chopping at the bit (chewing nails) watching the country ground into the dirt.

Enough!

Well, thanks to Obama, pretty much everyone in America knows what a serious *sshole would do.

100% agree with you.
I can't see anyway the country will be able to withstand another three years of this crap.
It's going to take one heck of an effort just to repair the damage already done.
It took years and years to get us to this point, but now the damage done to our institutions, laws and even civilized society itself is increasing exponentially and I mean exponentially in every sense of the word.

After Boehner’s “happy dance” on conservatives and with McConnell’s retreat for personal benefit (I hope it passes but I’ll vote “no”) it’s pretty obvious that it’s up to the citizens of this country to reclaim their voice and push back. The rest will follow when they see where the power lies, and it lies (even if they’ve forgotten) with the people.

And to top it all off, he got himself placed within arm's length of a raving lunatic -- and possible murderer -- somehow hired as a sign interpreter, who not only messed up his assignment but also saw angels wandering around the stadium.

Michelle, who has never learned how to act like a first lady,

Michelle didn't really have a chance. She is the type of woman loser who could be convinced to marry a three dollar bill on the "down low" for the sole purpose of making him viable as a politician.

The freebie crowd is about to be vastly increased when the Republicans get their much desired Amnesty and an end to two party political strife.

I am not so sure the Dems will even fall. They control the vote count from the touch screen voting machines. That is ever so much easier and reliable and harder to see than recruiting thousands of illegals and winos and dead folks and physically carrying them to the polls.

If Boehner thinks by getting amnesty for all those illegals it will help buy their new votes, he is dumber than I thought.

The media is like a sponge placed between an anvil and the hammer.

If the media were to be removed (print the truth) the hits would be sharp and painful to Obama.

Obama is protected by the liberal press to a point never seen before in America’s press.
