President Obama met with top technology industry executives on Tuesday to discuss two seemingly distinct controversies: a faulty health care website and the digital surveillance practices of the National Security Agency, Jackie Calmes and Nick Wingfield report.
The meeting started with an announcement by Mr. Obama that he was reaching into the ranks of Microsoft, the software giant, to select Kurt DelBene as the next person to run HealthCare.gov.

In meeting with the man, as megalomaniac, power hungry sociopath he is, one who remains very much a believer and practitioner of the very policies that have led to "fading public trust" it seems highly unlikely anything will occur that will ever restore public trust, domestically or globally as inherent, inseparable character of the current administration.
Tech leaders: No, no. We're not here for that. We want to talk about the NSA.
Obama: Yes, the website has been fixed, and we're registering millions of people a day!
Tech leaders: OK, that's not true at all. But we don't care. We're here about the surveillance.
Obama: It's the law of the land, you know. Healthcare is a basic right.

Fading trust? How about NO TRUST!!
You make for an all-too-realistic ‘fly on the wall’. :-)
Tech CEOs collude with NSA on spying activities. Cool as long as it’s hush hush. Then Snowden reveals the depth of collusion. Tech CEOs find out that their customers no longer trust them with their data. Form alliance to foam about the NSA. Meet with Obama who then blabs on and on about his “signature” health care program. CEOs leave shaking heads. Obama goes to Hawaii.
"Quickly turned"? Not what I heard...
It’s all Kabuki.
You either play ball w/ this admin or find yourself in litigation hell to the tune of $billions$.
