Going after one of the biggest group of NRA members and 2nd amendment supporters just like the IRS did with the Tea Party. Coincidence? I think not...

As an outdoor sportsman and conservationist I enjoy the Dish TV show series. I have seen a couple of episodes where the Maine officers refer a case to the feds.

About North Woods Law

Courtesy of Engel Entertainment

In the state of Maine, the elite Game Warden Service patrols more than eighteen million acres of rugged terrain filled with wild animals... and wild people. Each Autumn brings the hunting season, the Warden’s busiest and most dangerous time of year. These ‘State Police of the Woods’ never know what to expect from one moment to the next.

North Woods Law follows Maine’s elite Game Wardens as they navigate the Pine Tree State’s rugged terrain and twisted back roads. This year the wardens cover deer, moose, and fowl hunting seasons – the busiest and most perilous times of the year.

Each punch of the time clock is a ticket to extreme danger and drama as undercover stings and intense rescues are all in a day’s work. Whether they’re tracking bears on dangerous mountains or busting drunk drivers on ATVs, the Maine Game Wardens risk life and limb to protect animals and serve the people of Maine.

Animal Attraction: Idaho Aquarium and Employees Plead Guilty to Illegal Trafficking of Marine Life

Wifredo A. Ferrer, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Otha Easley, Acting Special Agent in Charge, NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement, and David Pharo, Resident Agent in Charge U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Miami, announced that Idaho Aquarium, Inc., an Idaho corporation based in Boise, Ammon Covino, 40, formerly of Meridian, Idaho, and Christopher Conk, 40, of Middleton, Idaho, entered guilty pleas in federal District Court in Key West for conspiring to harvest, transport, and sell spotted eagle rays and lemon sharks, knowing the marine life were taken, possessed, transported, sold, and intended to be sold in violation of the laws and regulations of the State of Florida, contrary to the federal Lacey Act, Title 16, United States Code, Sections 3372(a)(2)(A), and 3373(d)(1) and (2), all in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371.

According to the Indictment and Joint Factual Statements submitted to the Court and agreed to by the respective defendants, the defendants confessed that during the period extending from March 2012 through approximately November 2012, they engaged in a conspiracy to purchase and transport wildlife from the Florida Keys to Idaho for exhibit at the Idaho Aquarium in Boise. The wildlife included spotted eagle rays and lemon sharks, which required Florida licenses and permits never acquired by the participants in the deals. According to the Factual Statements, Covino and Conk were both at the time officers of the Aquarium, were individually advised of the requirements of the law, and nevertheless directed their Florida-based suppliers to ignore the law and make the shipments. Unknown to Covino and Conk at the time of the phone calls was the fact that the business owner was cooperating with federal authorities and the phone conversations and text messages were recorded. Payment for the various specimens was made by credit cards held in the Aquarium’s name. All three defendants acknowledged that Covino and Conk’s illegal conduct was within the scope of their employment, and intended to benefit, at least in part, the Idaho Aquarium.

In a separate criminal proceeding, United States v. Peter C. Covino, IV, Case No. 13-10010-CR-Martinez, Peter Covino, the nephew of Ammon Covino, was tried, convicted, and sentenced for obstruction of justice in connection with his effort to persuade the supplier in the Florida Keys to destroy the invoices and messages related to the illegal purchases of marine life to prevent their use in Ammon Covino’s case, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1512(b)(2)(B). Testimony at the trial established that after Ammon Covino had been arrested on February 21, 2013 he induced Peter Covino to make the calls.

NWO controls the sheeple through the government and its laws.

The sheeple only see their government, not the NWO behind it, controlling it.

NWO considers itself, therefore, exempt from all laws - they consider themselves a law unto themselves.

The law, in the minds of NWO, is for the “little people”. Wanting absolute control... everything is illegal. So anyone at any time can be arrested for a crime.

This way, politicans, businessmen - anyone influential in society, being always under threat of arrest, can easily be controlled.

That is NWO’s sheeple-control plan. Of course, in no way is this happy little system a “representative” goverment of any kind. Sad to say, that whole idea was simply floated around during the American Revolution to get people to participate. But make no mistake, the minute the new nation’s government was formed, it was already under control of its elites. The new US was a “wild west” in terms of business law to the NWO elites in Britain. The US was the equivalent of “offshore” today, an enormous money making opportunity where business was suddenly completely unfettered from any and all laws passed by the British Parliament, and it had a very small and new government and society that was ripe for control and influence from behind the scenes.

An interesting example: the Hudson’s Bay Company had, as one of its directors, a Richard Potter, who was, among other things, a British railroad magnate.

Potter’s daughter was the infamous Beatrice Webb, who, along with her husband Sidney, was a founder of the Fabian Society and the London School of Economics, and a supporter of the USSR.

American citizens should “wake up and smell the coffee”, and spend some time and effort learning true accounts of history.

New world order is real, and it runs the world.

“Elise Traub of the Humane Society of the United States noted a trend on the state level over the past decade to increase penalties and fines for violating hunting and fishing regulations, including poaching and wildlife trafficking.”

“For example, earlier this year the New Mexico legislature took up a bill that would make trophy poaching a felony punishable by substantial fines and jail time. The bill addresses cases in which poachers kill an animal, claim its head, and simply leave the remaining carcass behind.”

Make poaching illegal? Oh, the horror! And making hunters and fishers abide by hunting and fishing regulations? Who the hell do they think they are??? sarc/

I’m beginning to see why the colonist revolted against England now. The US Government has become way too powerful. The time to truly stand against them is at hand

Most outdoor sportsman are in favor of hunting - fishing game limits and especially the NRA provides a lot of data that the millions spent by outdoor sportsman on licenses goes to conservation of game and fish which perpetuates the species so that they do not become endangered or extinct.

The Nuge has said that many times.

Right to Hunt vs. Animal Rights: Legends of the Fall
A Daily Reckoning Special Position Paper
by Jim Amrhein

“The encouragement of a proper hunting spirit, a proper love of sport, instead of being incompatible with a love of nature and wild things, offers the best guaranty for their preservation.”

— U.S. President and Nobel Prize winner Theodore Roosevelt

I ONCE WROTE an essay in this forum that I’m still getting feedback about. It dealt with the touchy subject of animal rights (or rather, the lack thereof). In the closing paragraph of that piece, I promised to expose the animal rights crowds for the hypocrites they are at a later date — and to demonstrate that the best friend any wild animal ever had is the hunter who exercises his or her personal freedom to stalk the woods, mountains, meadows, or marshes with gun or bow in hand….

Right to Hunt vs. Animal Rights: Hunting for Reason — and Respect

And now that it’s the crisp and colorful fall, and time once again for those who are so inclined to hang some healthy wild game on the ol’ meat hook, it’s time for me to make good on that promise. I’ll also offer a “sacrificial lamb” to some critics who claim some of my columns have little financial component to them. To those folks, I say this: What you’re about to read should slake your thirst for numbers. But as you read, I urge you to keep in mind my larger point — that there’s a negative fiscal impact whenever personal freedoms are compromised.

Here’s a fact the animal rights crowd doesn’t like to hear, or to admit:

There wouldn’t be nearly as many (if any) vast tracts of publicly owned land to hike, bike, bird-watch, dog-walk, horseback ride, or generally gambol around on if regulated hunting did not exist. Funds generated by license fees and federal excise taxes on outdoor gear pay for these lands by an overwhelming margin. In fact, these monies dwarf all other sources combined — including the nearly nonexistent contributions of animal rights organizations (more on this in a minute). That means outdoor sportsmen are overwhelmingly the largest source of conservation funding in the United States….

Have you ever lived around Indians, they hunt 24/7, ignore all govt regulations, and see fish & game limits as not being of man’s domain, more the creators. Telling Indians to abide by game limits would be akin to telling the Baptists they couldn’t go to church anymore, ha ha. The FEds leave them be, cause they are Dems. Only good thing is there are so few of them and they are going extinct; that they don’t have much impact on game numbers. Poaching is a word not spoken around Indians. I’d feel quite a sense of accomplishment if I could get them to stop shooting the cow moose. They tell me that shooting cows is how they have always done it when they need fresh meat. If there is a problem with their cultural ways, it must be with the White Man that showed up in their country 100 years back.

We had a couple fed cops at our local fed park, they tried enforcing state law as we don’t have any state cops within 200 miles of our town. They started doing safety checks on the river, waving guns at locals. They ended up getting fired and it turned out the one was a convicted felon. How’d he get into the fed cop training program?

Good luck with that. "Red Team vs. Blue Team" is much more fun - and completely absolves the individual of responsibility for creating the reality we are entering.

Yep, and I say both the king's deer and the king himself are edible.

According to Frisky the wonder tigress, I'd better not bring any canned two-leggers into her house, or there'll be heck, hecker, heckest to pay. She doesn't mind if those outdoor kitties across the way eat canned two-leggers, but she expects tinned turkey in gravy.

Beware the Kings Deer.

As for Mr. Nugent, he failed to follow the state law when it came to bear hunting. Every hunter acknowledges said law when hunting on the Kings land.

>>American citizens should “wake up and smell the coffee”, and spend some time and effort learning true accounts of history.<<

Anytime you find an article about “true accounts of history”, it is always denigrated as conspiracy theory. Most of us don’t have the skills needed to sort through the manure piles to determine just what is and what isn’t factual. Even here on FR there’s a small crowd who seem to get upset when too many facts are brought out all at once.

Try explaining to people how come so many of the same names are on multiple boards of directors of the international corporations and how that links back to the World Bank. You get these blank stares as if you said that Christ was going to return tomorrow. Too many people are not tuned into recognizing the truth no matter how it is presented to them.

People refuse to accept that the media, all media is another effective method of social engineering. When you explain it through, they ignore it and don’t change their ways. After a while you begin to understand that it is a waste of time.

If the people of the US were to somehow start resisting against the NWO I think we would either find that a plague has started in the municipal drinking water systems or there would be problems with the transportation of food throughout the nation. It is one thing to complain when your belly is full and your kids are healthy. Try it when the whole family is sick and hungry.

Thanks for trying to spur us onward.

Got a good friend this happened to. They were after his guide for some technical violation and decided to include him too. He plead guilty to a misdemeanor because it was too expensive to fight. He was prohibited from hunting for a year and VERBALLY told by the federal judge it wouldn’t impact his right to bear arms. This was a from a federal judge in the state where the hunting took place.

His “parole” supervision was transferred to the state he lived in. THOSE people then proceeded to ORDER him to give up ALL his firearms, bows, and other hunting weapons, and ORDERED him to not attend any events (including target shooting at local gun ranges) where shooting might occur.

This is an absolutely true story. There’s no way around it: we live in a totalitarian Fascist state.
