When Basim Henry robbed a Union Township bank in November 2003, it was not hard to connect him to the crime.
He had driven his white Pontiac to the bank on Morris Avenue, authorities said, and left it parked illegally on an adjacent side street with the keys in the ignition.
At least three of the four men charged this morning in the fatal carjacking of a Hoboken lawyer at a The Mall at Short Hills last Sunday evening have been arrested before, according to state and federal records, for crimes ranging from burglary to bank robbery.

Obama’s recent commutation of eight men will result in others being hurt, but the media will not hang it on him like they did Dukakis and Willie Horton. (Dukakis was letting prisoners serving life for murder have weekend furloughs. One of them was leaving prison, committing murder, and going back Sunday nights.)
The reason this scum is out on the street is to justify the amount of public defenders, judges, sheriff’s officers and police hires in this state. Keep them off the streets and you could eliminate half of them or more.
I’ve watched too many of these crime reality shows where at first it looks like a random act of violence, and then it turns out that the wife paid somebody to knock off her husband for the life insurance money. I’m not saying that that is the case here, but my mind just goes in that direction. When the other spouse is unscathed, I become suspicious.
That was a kill whitey moment and all planned by these four.

This is a local story where I am, and I am seeing comment after comment from people blaming the victim. One of the worst comments I saw was “If he didn’t have so many packages maybe they wouldn’t have been able to get to him.” In other words, he had money to buy things, so he’s fair game.

NJ NERA statute kicks in: murder, agg assault, carjacking, robbery, burglary. conspiracy of such means only possible chance of less than 85% served. I believe even in blue NJ no sane parole board/judge will ever do favors for them now or later…note sane qualification
Expect reports that they were ex-cons described as teens in their thirties…
One shot in the nuts, so they can feel some pain for awhile, and then let them know that in two minutes they will each take two between the eyes, so that they can experience a couple of minutes of fear.

Local PD puts them in paper painters’ suits so they don’t hang themselves with belts, laces, pants, etc. They’ll get formal orange or light green duds in the county jail while awaiting trial.
