The “elites” in pop culture cannot stand the popularity of the Duck Dynasty crew, and their financial success.
Mylie Cyrus and the Kardashians and every other “icon” that is on the covers of the grocery store magazines can have any lifestyle or behavior that they choose - but not the celebrities who actually Quote the Bible!
And speaking of MSNBC, that is the reason the NBC News brand has been so damaged. Irreparably.
Which gets back to stretch Gregory. As an entertainer, he's misplaced on this show, but the bigger reason is from upstairs. The direction from the top. The producers, etc...
Juan continues to show his ignorance in his zest to kiss the rear-end of “The One.”
NBC can't waste a chance to throw dirt on those nasty conservatives.

Sort of a corollary to the Phil Robertson story is who may be behind the scenes pulling strings for all we know.
A&E airs the Duck Dynasty in which Robertson is a key star. They have unreal numbers for a cable network:

With numbers like this you know there are numerous things at play to dump the star of the show.IMHO,A&E owned by ABC which also owns Dizney never wanted a cable show indeed any cable show to draw numbers like these guys do. Especially, a true tell it like it is redneck show with old time values including God Mother and Country. This has to be ABC's worst nightmare higher ratings included. If cable gets too high of numbers such as this show FNC net and others what will become of ABC?
Moreover dizzyworld has made huge bucks from chumming up gaytoids. They have "gay days" at dizzy world and even have special cruzes for perverts only. In short beging ay is big bidness for Disney/ABC. They can't afford one of their biggest stars to engage in running down the effort.
Probably first and foremost however as bray so eloquently points out is that the networks are loyal butt-boys to the ozero regime where gayness is not a novelty but a must. So there are multiple reasons for ABC/Dizney to sabotage their own net by killing off Robertson. None of them worthy but all predetermined by the pathway all the Driveby media have taken to the doorway of hell.

So you think he deserved what he got since he was making money from Hollywierd. I guess Palin deserved her execution since she entered the political arena and every other Conservative can be justified too. This is ok with you if they are attempting to make money or fame from the Marxists.
As long as we have people on our side willing to excuse this behavior it will continue. This is exactly why they do it since they know a good portion of our side will never fight back or will justify the tactic.
the entire mission of MTP for NBC is to covertly promote the regimes latest piece of crap message without being overly blatant or over the top. In addition if they can mange to head off what talk radio/us will inevitably come up with in the following days its a double win for the hard left.

Every one of these reality shows tries to bring in a homosexual and even tried it with DD when they had the dog photographer. Phil just made some funny looks and comments about him, but played along. He did make a good photo of Phil and Miss Kay.
They see the dead pool starting to climb and don't want to be part of it I guess.Also their worst nightmare would be loss of access to the coveted commie regime.
I imagine he's also an expert on HillaryCare from back in the 90s...having 'been there done that'.

I agree with Bray upstream, and don't see any slouching toward anything. He did business with A & E, granted, but obviously did it his way, not ceding a syllable to their demands. And he didn't do it for riches. He already had those.
I tend to agree with those who've said the Robertson's saw this as a way to demonstrate a spirituality on TV, something totally absent for years. They could give a crap about this, imho.
No one in their right mind is going to touch either GLAAD or the A&E Network on the the “Duck Dynasty”. The “Hitler Youth” (GLAAD) commited a fatal, self-inflicted would to its moronic self....and....stupid A&E Network followed suit!!!
Thank God the “sensible” Gays that have to live and work in America every day with with scores of diversifed Americans, that hold all kinds of views, and, thanks to our freedom and free speech....stayed away from the nutcases and lunatics that have nothing better to do then ranting and raving about radical “Gay” ideas, GLAAD supporter, POTUS Obama, included.
As for A&E Network.......their management and executives are far from the sharpest knives in the drawer!!! Whoever was behind calling the shot to sink “The Duck Dnyasty & Family” has to be the dumbest person (or persons) alive on this earth!!!
Have you good folks also taken note that the only “politicians” that have spoken out on the “Phil Robertson” attack, are Republicans that support the Robinson family. Not one Democrat, not one “Gay” Democrat politician of note has said one word about this uncalled for attack. Why? They see the handwriting on the wall....and do not want to touch this issue with a ten foot pole. Only Obama and his hate filled GLAAD thought this was a huge gain in the action to destroy free speech and religion. Obama is dumb, GLAAD is dumber and the A&E Network is even dumber. Hitler and his evil, hateful, destructive to freedom, antics are alive in America, represented by Obama, GLAAD and the A&E Network!!! They bring in the homo to promote the agenda and appear to be cutting edge. My wife watches those house flipping shows and I continually ask if they have any hetero buyers. It is always two homo men shopping for a home or apartment.
The producers of these shows are mostly militant homosexuals.

My guess is A&E don’t call the network shots that’s done at the ABC level.
He worked for Moynihan, who was a pretty respectable Dem, as far as they go.
Stretch Gregory on the other hand comes from Los Angeles and is totally entertainment oriented. I'll never get rid of the image of Gregory demonstrating that latest Gangman style (sp) dance craze on the Today show last year. He's such a hip guy, don't ya' know.
He's married to a DC lawyer who was patronaged into a high paying establishment gig at Fannie May, or Freddie. No conflict there.
When GE bought NBC years ago, the writing was on the wall. Then GE got in bed with Obie.
