Forget About A GOP Victory Next Year
Impeach Obama Campaign .com ^ | December 22, 2013 | Dr. Kevin "Coach" Collins

Posted on 12/22/2013 6:29:35 AM PST by Moseley

It is becoming increasingly likely that the polls and surveys we are seeing today have a similar fundamental flaw; they are all vulnerable to collapse because of the agenda of John Boehner and the rest of the GOPe (including the Chamber of Commerce.)

The advantages held by Republicans today will be distant memories next November. Nevertheless, the vicious uncalled-for attacks on conservatives by John Boehner, Peter King, John McCain, and their like will not be forgotten. They will become rallying cries to fight against the Republican Party next year.

Those who are tempted to think that since conservatives have nowhere else to go, Republicans will win by default, ought to reconsider. Boehner’s insistence upon waving amnesty as a red flag in the face of conservatives will lead to the evaporation of the GOP’s base support overnight.

The Republicans are fooling themselves into believing that the mere word “Democrat” attached to an opponent will bring them easy victories, because it won’t do anything of the sort after amnesty. To the contrary, Republicans who vote for amnesty will carry a scarlet “A” on their foreheads; and being backed by “The Chamber of Commerce” will be a one way ticket to unemployment.

Republicans connected to amnesty will get no base support and no votes of “gracias” from newly-minted Democrats.

If the tone of this essay conveys the message that amnesty will bring about a big election night for Democrats and the beginning of the end for the Republican Party, I’ve made my case.

Amnesty doesn't immediately affect the American People like Obamacare does.

The Democrats will take the first hit, the GOP elites the next one.

It isn't like the Democrats are on the right side of amnesty either.

The GOPe will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The dems and their campaign arm (MSM) will actively assist them.

Should I blow my brains out now or wait? These guys are so negative and depressing I find no reason to read them. Lots of things will happen and gloom and doom do not have inside track on what is going to happen. Maybe Dr. Kevin “Coach” Collins is not going to have a good Christmas and wants to wreck ours.

Reid is openly congratulating Boehner for taking on those crazy radicals in the Tea Party. Uncle Screwtape could not be prouder

way to go Boehner- anything that makes Harry Reid happy MUST be good for America, right? When Harry approves, you must be doing the right thing, eh?

............................................................

If I have nowhere to go, I can always stay home.

If I and thousands of other stay home the GOPe loses.

Boehner and the others need to think on that.

Obamacare is not like budget battles or homosexual “rights” etc. It is affecting too many people, right now, and will do so for the foreseeable future.

Yes, the GOP-E is unable to exploit this fully, but they aren’t really exploiting it now. It should be a very good year for the GOP despite themselves (as in 2010).

The establishment GOP are not interested in gaining or holding majorities in either house. They are content on not being challenged by the liberal media by going along with the liberals’ agenda. They consider conservatives their enemies and the liberals their friends.

This country is so deep into the black hole now, I’d just as soon see our historic enemies complete the job, than reward our traitorous “friends” into position to finish it and enrich themselves as they do it. Let them become trapped in the trap they set for the rest of us. I really don’t care, they are not my god nor my salvation.

...a similar fundamental flaw...

The similar fundamental flaw is that republicans are stupid.

The GOPe will piss away this advantage just like they piss away every advantage.

They will, again, alienate their base in an attempt to curry favor with the media.

Paul Ryan is an idiot.

I’m pretty sure the GOP has jumped the shark with conservatives. I know that the word ‘Republican’ to me means nothing more than a pile of dogsh!t.

I am not going to vote for my so-called Senator Isakson in 2016, nor for anyone GOP endorsed in Chambliss’ replacement primary, either.

Additionally, based on my Congressman Collin’s recent budget vote, I won’t be voting for him in the primary.

Should any or all of these win their primaries, I’m planning on sitting this one out totally. I’ll not be a party to keep putting these traitors back in office.

While shopping this year I have noticed a huge trend and I think it is indicative of a radical change coming. Store clerks, shoppers, restaurant personnel are all saying Merry CHRISTMAS in a very unapologetic aggressive manner. I hear it everywhere and I think it is a revolt.

Should there be a GOP victory, it will be a hollow one. It will be business as usual. Lots more spending, continuing growth of government, and the further erosion of liberties. The GOP and the Dems are two sides of the same coin.

There may be another flaw: Of the nearly 60% who disapprove of Obama, 10 to 12% say it’s because he isn’t liberal enough. That gets us back to 50-50.

There is some inconsistency in the polls, though. If he really is losing independents (they don’t think he’s too conservative) and/or is receding from being The One for those under 30, he’s got a problem.

The above is not to say that the GOP-e leadership can’t do something so stupid that the electorate won’t see any difference between the parties.

You can count on that. They always fold because they have no core values.

Boehner is one of the weakest “leaders” in history. Ever.

The problem is, Republicans are sitting on their hands while the Democrats strategerize, and fight. By next November the failings of Obamacare will be the result of the House Republicans. Head on over to DU, if you can tolerate it, they are all over the place blaming this on Republicans. Remember, this is a battle for low information voters, and silence isn’t going to win. With that said, I think 2014 is going to be a bad year for all incumbents, not just Democrats.

The GOP are appeasers and compromisers. That’s who they are; its how they roll. Never going to change.

You’re right, the GOP deeply fears the conservative movement. Their stated “differences” with Democrats are largely for political theater and for deceiving their base into voting for them.

How much more evidence do we need that the GOP is a failure? We need a new party IMO.

Collins is right. I know in my case, if Adam Kwasman does not win the Republican nomination from AZ-1, I will probably vote for Anne Kirkpatrick (D-AZ). Why vote for a Democrat wannabe when you can go ahead and vote for the real thing?
