Before people freak out, Marines usually evacuate Americans stuck in warzones. Unfortunately the rebels in South Sudan saw fit to fire on American Marines flying out US citizens. Idiots.

The Rules of Engagement as approved by The Stain say that our Marines can ONLY fire upon suspected members of the TEA Party. Everyone else is off limits.

Hmmmm...we can send Marines into Sudan to protect and evacuate U.S. citizens but not Benghazi.
Oh. I see. Obama is in Hawaii and not interfering!

Pity he won’t let them keep their retirement pay.
Maybe they should go ‘on strike’, before taking orders to ‘strike’

No until Valerie Jarrett says they can . . . and then they’ll probably be unarmed so they don’t hurt anyone.

Don’t put them under ANY ROE’s . If they get shot at ,allow them to utterly wipe out anyone attacking them . Have 2 AC-130’s available , one on orbit , at all times and a clear permission to fire at will if attacked . Get out people out of that rathole and then leave them to their own population control devices . The place is not worth one American life.

Praying for our Marines. They are serving under the worst CIC in US history.

Tet, Saigon, 1968. Sappers, failure of indigenous personnel, lack of command and control. I won't even mention logistics...embassy security...
Sheesh.

Just an obervation....Africans aren't showing a real lot of talent for running western-style governments. Perhaps the only choices are colonial governments or dictators or killing each other off.
We should probably get out of the way and let all of Africa go the way of South Africa with its end of colonial rule.

Re;
The U.S. military is moving about 150 Marines from Spain to Africa, most likely Djibouti, to be prepared to go into South Sudan to either provide security for the U.S. Embassy in Juba Sounds like another 'false controversy' to me... right, Susan?

#3 son is a Marine and his battalion is currently on a MEU aboard the Boxer and has been in Djibouti for the last month or so.
He’s been very circumspect about things on those rare occasions we get to talk to him.

Strange. Fox news had their military expert, a general(ret) say the US citizens have gone. Only the embassy personnel and the Marine det. are left.
