"Beginning in 2014, Heinz will contribute $1,093 per year, per household to your RRA," the letter dated Nov. 21 said.

That says the company is paying the Medicare Part B premium for a guy who hasn't worked for them for 20 years. Not too bad, IMHO.

I retired from a company much bigger than Heinz with a very nice pension. But after age 65, they pay zero for medical benifits. I'm on my own for that. Medicare Part B and C is out of my pocket.

Just got my 2015 we’re changing things notice. Time for little to no insurance for this old man. End of life, end of health insurance. Not the deal I signed up for those many years ago.
