Biblical eschatology and Russia in the same sentence, and this is supposed be be a good thing (making more and more sense)? I think not, here is some eschatology you may not be aware of, the Gog-Magog prophecy of Ezek. 38 and 39. Russia in alliance with Iran and assorted other Muslim countries attacking Israel in a major end time war.

Oh, I’m fully aware of this. That’s why I’m saying that the recent developments in Russia in terms of their rejection of the gay agenda, and what seems to be a revival of sorts in the EO Church, the almost taunting of the West and our moral decline, would on its face seem to run counter to what I know of the End Times.

We know a great multi-dimensional cosmic chess game is being played out but from our vantage point we can only dimly discern events on part of the playing field.
Much of people's understanding of biblical prophesy is based on the world around them. as the world changes, the need arises to reevaluate understanding of the world around us.
I'm not so certain recent developments in Russia don't represent a feint. A feint would be consistent with the type fruit I see being born by Putin and the Orthodox clergy who were reportedly thoroughly penetrated by the KGB. I'm just not sure.

Looks like the coalition in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is coming to pass. Russia will ally itself with the Muslims because they share a common hatred of God’s chosen people.
Read both chapters carefully and pay especial attention where God says through the prophet, “Behold I am against you O Gog.”
This is striking in that God is usually for man as in providing the way of salvation. When He says “I am against you”, the party who is addressed has committed abominations that draws down unrelenting wrath.
What are the abominations that Russia has committed? Their anti-semitic history and probably the most damning of all the atheism that they espoused through their communist philosophy that was nothing more than a seducing spirit that preached a doctrine of demons. How many people fell for that lie and have damned their souls and spirits for eternity no one knows — but God knows and His judgment does not sleep and their damnation does not slumber.
